Get ready to explore the spectacular natural environments and rural landscapes south of Marrakech. You will cross beautiful river valleys; see unique historical sites made famous by movies, and sleep in an authentic camp under the stars, before admiring the sunrise over the dunes. Zagora is a historic city in Morocco, it is a place that is inextricably linked with the Sahara Desert.

Itinerary
You will move to the wonderful postcard village of Ait Ben Haddou. Upon arrival, you will be introduced to a local guide. Lunch at the restaurant of your choice. The guide goes to buddies or you decide to eat because, after your meal, he will pick you up and then give you a guided tour of the village.
Once the sites are completed in Ait Ben Haddou. You must drive 45 minutes to Ouarzazate. You pass in front of Atlas Studio. It is one of the largest film studios in the world by area. Then you cross the Draa Valley with its wonderful pictures. Al-Dara'a Oasis is one of the largest desert oases.
Upon arrival, you have to ride a guided camel for about an hour. You should be able to watch the sunset while riding a camel. Dinner must be served before 9:00 PM and is included in the day's tour. Before the night ends and you go back to your tent, you will witness a traditional show with music.

A week in Marrakech with my sister and wanting to see the desert, we trusted this agency to book our excursion. Very friendly staff, advantageous prices compared to other places and top services! Choosing a stay in Zagora is a good compromise for seeing the desert without a journey as long as going to Merzouga (even if it takes 8 hours by bus without breaks!). Guided tour of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou on the way out, of Ouarzazate on the way back, camel ride, night in a Bedouin camp in the desert... An unforgettable experience

Good organization. They picked us up at the hotel at the agreed time. Our driver was very kind making the stops we asked for. The trip to Zagora is a bit long but if you want to see the desert from Marrakech it is the fastest option. Recommended!

We chose a private tour with driver. Idriss was very friendly and attentive. The journey is long to Zagora but it allowed us to discover southern Morocco and we were able to make stops when we wanted. We traveled as a family (couple + 3 children aged 5, 12 and 15), everyone loved this experience. The trip is long and we would have liked to take advantage of the excursions more, but we had a nice overview of the region. The night in the desert with the sunrise is exceptional.
