Be wowed by the beautiful scenery of the Dachstein mountains and glaciers as you make your journey to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Salzburg. Embark on a walking tour of the main sights and off-the-beaten track gems. Taste some of the famous Mozart "Kugeln" chocolate with some time to explore at your leisure.
You will visit a heart of Salzkammergut region – a fabulous town of Hallstatt, lost among the high mountains on the shore of the lake with blue azure coloured water. This place is considered to be the main view of the Alpine Austria, but no picture can show a splendid atmosphere of this town and its original character. During your free time you will have enough time for lunch and walking through the narrow streets of the town and admire magnificent views of the lake and huge mountains.

We had a great time visiting Hallstatt and Salzburg for a day trip! Scheduling and communication with Lorant was so simple, and the tour went exactly as he described. It was great conversation on the road, too! He was very helpful and knowledgeable about both places, and explained things to us prior to letting us go explore. It was worth every penny to have a private tour, and not wait on the rest of a group to move between each place. The car was very clean and water was provided. Overall, I would 100% recommend to others! We will rebook with him the next time we come back to this area!
Lorant was a wonderful driver / tour guide. Very effective communicator to confirm planned agenda / pick up. Arrived early and very pleasant on the long day ahead. Gave options on the agenda to reverse it or do as written whatever we wanted . Gave us space to have a few moments to privately tour churches, site…. Very kind . We had a wonderful day visiting Hallstatt and Salzburg with Lorant. This was a welcome alternative to the larger tours. Lorant was an excellent guide, providing helpful background at each stop and then giving us ample time to explore independently. It was so nice to relax in the back seat and know that Lorant had the logistics handled. Great conversation and company. A lovely way to view Austria! 10/10 would recommend spending your day with Lorant!
Lorant was great! We had to do a last minute booking the night before our trip because the small group tour cancelled last minute. But Lorant saved the day and was reliable! He messaged before the night to confirm information and was right on time at our hotel as promised! He gave great insight along the way and at each stop! Oh and the sights were beautiful even in January! If we had to do it again we would just book with Lorant to begin with, for the peace of mind to know your tour is really happening, a great experience, and safe travel!

We had such a great day on this trip with our driver and guide, Lorant. The car was spacious, clean, comfortable, and he’s an excellent driver; calm, smooth, and just made the whole day feel easy. Lorant was also just a genuinely kind, thoughtful person to spend the day with. He was friendly, easy to chat with, and he even brought a bottle of wine for our wine tasting, which was an unexpected, and appreciated touch. The timing of the day was perfect. We had plenty of time in both Hallstatt and Salzburg to walk around, explore, take photos, and actually enjoy the places without feeling rushed or stuck on a tight schedule. We’d absolutely recommend this excursion with Lorant!
