Itinerary
In the morning we travel to Stonehenge and arrive before the large tour groups so that the experience is more memorable and special. Our guides know everything there is to know about Stonehenge and their passion will add to your overall experience.
In the afternoon we will visit the magnificent Roman Baths Museum; The only place in England where you can see natural thermal waters alongside a Roman Temple. The City was once called Aqaue Sulis, and shares both Roman and Celtic origins. This magnificent museum will make your jaw drop when you see how well kept the 2000 year old floor looks today. Aside from the temple, Bath offers magnificent shops and architecture from the 18th Century when it was entirely reinvented as a Spa Town. The Queen Square, Circus and Royal Crescent are but justs a few of the magnificent designs of John Wood. Your guide will fascinate you with stories from Roman origins to Georgian glamour and make the story of Bath come to life!
On the way back to London you will be able to admire some of England's most beautiful countryside as we take a step back into 18th Century England. Your guide will enlighten you on what was once the most lucrative trade in Europe; Cotswold Wool. Villages like Castle Combe thrived on the wool industry and has created a perfect little village with amazing weavers cottages and a church. If you like country walks, speak to your guide and you can also go on a public footpath to get a true experience of rural England.
You have a choice on this tour to visit Castle Combe OR Lacock Abbey. Lacock Village is much larger than Castle Combe and perhaps not as picturesque, but it is a must see for Harry Potter Fans looking for filming locations of the epic movies!

Best pick for traveling the British countryside! Our lovely guide Peter Iles made this trip the most enjoyable part of our time in London. His easy manner and deep command of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience. He explains Stonehenge as if a scholar and had an infectious enthusiasm for explaining the theories behind this monument. He made it feel like even though this monument is in Britain, it represents the ancient wisdom that is certainly in all our ancestors pasts. I wish we had more time here to arrange other trips with Peter as our guide!
Peter’s vast and in depth knowledge of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience - I cannot recommend highly enough!
A very interesting day. Our guide Oz was a history buff which helped us to understand the political and history of the UK.
Excellent experience. Christian was great. Very informative and fun. Customized the tour to our likes. Highly recommend.
It was a full day, but the car was very comfortable and we got to see everything we wanted to plus more! Dave the guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!
Our guide Christian M. was amazing! So incredibly informed/educated about the area and sites. A lot of fantastic history education mixed with some great "dad" jokes. He went out of his way to be sure we had a fantastic day and part of that was really knowing his stuff and being incredibly organized. Castle Combe is not to be missed!
This was a wonderful day. Our guide was Christian, who did everything possible to make our day fantastic. He was knowledgable, knew the areas completely and made everything go smoothly and easily. The timing of the day was perfect. This trip was one of the highlights of our visit to the UK.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful day with Christian. He’ll be thrilled to know his knowledge and care helped make your experience so special. It’s great to hear that everything ran smoothly and that the timing felt just right, that's exactly what we aim for. We’re honoured to have been a highlight of your visit to the UK and truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience :) We hope to welcome you again on another adventure in the future!
Absolutely the BEST tour we've ever been on! Oz is not just a tour guide but a friend and great wealth of knowledge! We had two amazing day trips with Oz as our tour guide. He made each tour specific to our likes. We even stopped for coffee on the way to Stonehenge because of that stop he checked the Google Maps and it showed an accident on 303 hwy. Which we took a detour, but the bigger busses always stay on the path despite accidents on the roadways, We got to Stonehenge before everyone else and had it all to ourselves for 15 mins which is unheard of! He walked us through talking about the site and answering all our questions good, bad and the ugly. . Even when we went to Bath he already had an idea we wanted a good steak and ale pie, he had looked it up the night before and suggested The Raven which was one of the best pies and pints we had. I know it seems kinda pricy BUT TRUST ME IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! The one one experience is so worth it! If you were to splurge on a once in a lifetime trip I would pick this company hands down! By the time this ended we were planning another trip via this amazing company. He say's he has people who specialize in different locations. We are now looking to book with them for Wales, S. England and N. England going into Scotland. We also hired Tailored Tours to help us get from our hotel to Fullers Brewery > OVO Wembley for a concert > and Pickup from OVO to our hotel. Richard was our driver that day and what a wonderful man who made our experience so easy. Which we were worried about coming to an unknown country and trying to figure out concert logistics.
This is exactly the kind of review that makes what we do so worthwhile—thank you so much for taking the time to share it. It was a real pleasure spending those days with you both, and I’m glad it felt relaxed and tailored rather than rushed or “tick-box”. That’s always the aim :) I’m very happy to hear you enjoyed your pie and mash in Bath as well, and I’ll be sure to pass on your kind words on to Richard as well—he also said he really enjoyed meeting you both. Whenever you’re ready to plan the next trip, whether it’s Wales, further north, or anywhere else, just let me know and we’ll build something just as memorable. Thanks again, and hopefully see you back over here soon! Oz
We had an amazing private tour with Oz. Super flexible with our time in every location. Very impressed with his history knowledge. Would recommend to anyone wanting to visit these locations, tour was a long day but didn’t feel long and was my kids favorite day in London!

Christian was an amazing tour guide. He was very flexible in helping to tailor our visit to some places that were not initially included with the tour and was very knowledgeable about the area - with amusing stories and anecdotes. We would definitely request Christian's services in the future.
Thanks so much for the lovely feedback, we’re really glad you enjoyed your time with Christian! His flexibility and storytelling are exactly what make him such a great guide. We’d be delighted to welcome you back and arrange another tour with him in the future :)
