We had a great experience with our guide Alex to Long Than and Nui Dat, as this was where my father was based in the Vietnam war it was special to do the ceremony and lay flowers as a mark of respect
My brother and I toured Nui Dat and Long tan to gain an understanding of the war, particularly this area as the Australians were based here. Alex, our tour guide not only gave us detailed descriptions of the Australian part in the war but also shared a valuable insight into the bigger picture of Vietnam's history. A great day and tour.
Very comfortable vehicle and our guide, Lucky was very knowledgeable about the sites and the war history.
We visited Long Tan with Alex as our guide and found the experience extremely worthwhile. Alex was exceptionally knowledgeable and delivered the history in a way that was clear, engaging, and well balanced with appropriate humour, which really helped our teenage children stay interested and understand the significance of the site. After visiting the War Remnants Museum (we did this the day before), this tour provided valuable context and a deeper understanding of the Australian involvement in the Vietnam War. Alex explained complex events thoughtfully and respectfully, making the experience both informative and accessible. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a well-rounded and meaningful understanding of the Australian perspective at Long Tan.

The tour guide was incredible. Very knowledgeable and friendly, and could provide lots of detail about where events happened.
We had a fantastic day out with Tuan. He was very knowledgeable and a good friend to us. He showed us a great deal around Long Tan and Nui Dat area making it a day to remember. Can’t wait to see the photos! Thank you Justin & Bec
Captain Tuan was excellent and his knowledge of Long Tan, NuiDat and surrounding areas was exceptional. Tuan also documented his tour by recording photos for us along the way. Thanks Tuan and driver Kim, a very enjoyable day. Kim and Sue. Perth, WA.
We had a truly memorable experience on the Long Tan tour, thanks to our exceptional guide, Tuan. From the beginning, he made us feel completely at ease. His English was excellent, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Long Tan and Vietnam more broadly. What made the day even better was his relaxed, down-to-earth nature and great sense of humour. As older travellers in our 70s, we especially appreciated how considerate Tuan was. He was mindful of regular toilet and coffee stops, and always offered a helping hand getting in and out of the car. At each site, he made sure the pace was manageable and the terrain easy to navigate. When we visited a tunnel, he was very attentive — reminding us to watch our heads and take our time, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable throughout. Beyond the war history, Tuan shared fascinating insights into local vegetation, regional industries, and everyday life in Vietnam today. He welcomed all our questions and answered them with honesty, warmth, and a genuine passion for his country. This tour was respectful, informative, and deeply engaging — an absolute highlight of our visit. If you’re considering this tour, do it — and ask for Tuan. You’ll be in the best of hands.
Such a moving experience, just 1 day before Anzac day 2025. Tuan our guide was awesome, his first hand knolage, and took us to all special places and telling us about his story and the Aussies. An amazing day, well worth to do this. Thankyou
