Itinerary
Your private tour of Paddington Bear’s London begins with a pickup from your central London (Zone 1) hotel. Then, hop inside the private car and settle into your comfortable seat to begin your tour of Paddington Bear’s London. As you travel, hear tales of this lovable bear who arrived in London more than 50 years ago after his Aunt Lucy went into The Home for Retired Bears in Lima. Learn how he left deepest, darkest Peru and stowed away in a ship’s lifeboat, living on marmalade.
Following in Paddington’s pawprints, your first stop is Mr Gruber’s antiques shop on Portobello Road. Mr Gruber is Paddington's closest friend and the accident-prone bear goes to him every day for advice as well as for his elevenses, a mid-morning tea tradition that dates back to the Victorian era. On route to the shop, walk through the famous Portobello Market. Soak up the vibrant atmosphere as you pass the many stalls, crammed with antiques, clothes and more.
Afterward, return to your private car and leave the hustle and bustle of the market behind you as you head off of the beaten track to find some of London’s lesser-known and most picturesque spots. Stopping off frequently to stretch your legs, take photos and see Paddington locations up close, listen to your guide talk about some of Paddington’s greatest adventures, and discover how the movie was made. Then, continue on to the Windsor Gardens filming location. See the home of Paddington Bear and the Brown family, who took Paddington home with them after finding him in London’s Paddington Station with a note attached to his coat reading: ‘Please look after this bear, thank you.’ Lastly, visit the place that our furry friend is named after, Paddington Railway Station. Here, look out for the bronze statue of Paddington Bear on the concourse, and then spend some time at the Paddington shop, where you can choose to buy souvenirs for yourself or your friends and family.

We booked a tour of Paddington Bears London for my Son after being in hospital. We never got there due to trains being cancelled half way to London. We contacted the company and explained this, after paying £300.00, they have not responded to us at all. Luckily we got home. Would of liked maybe a token of a discount or really sorry you could not get to the tour. Nothing at all! Thanks for nothing.
Grandaughter throughly enjoyed this(as did we adults) - great way to see the sights 7 Eva our guide was excellent. Sure way to spend a morning reliving the sights & sounds of the movies with background explanations & short video clips. Recommended.

Very enjoyable afternoon visiting spots off the beaten path

I was given this gift as a present. A little apprehensive at first as I had not done anything like this before and although I love paddington bear I am certainly not in the age bracket of a young person!! I should not have worried. Dewi was a very nice and informative guide and came across as a person enjoying his job. The group of people were friendly, the locations visited and the story telling were second to none. Would recommend this tour even if Paddington is not your favourite bear - although I cannot imagine why he would not be! Thank you again Dewi, you made the trip most enjoyable.

This could have been really cute, but our guide was completely lackluster and did not seem to care about the tour at all. She started by arriving late and it all went downhill from there. First, the DVD which provided a majority of the information was not working, and rather than work with and entertain her guests, she sat silent through much of the tour, offering some grainy movie stills as a way of compensation. Our Paddington loving family was very disappointed and felt that this was proof that a particular guide can make or break any given tour.

Excellent tour and great tour guide. My two 9 year old girls thoroughly enjoyed it, and I did too.

The tour guide was informative and the small group was the perfect size. Highly recommended
