You will visit the most important places of interest: Corso Umberto, the main street that crosses the whole center of Taormina, where on both sides you can find luxury boutiques, clothing and souvenir shops; Piazza IX Aprile, one of the best panoramic points of Taormina, with its incredible panoramic terrace, perfect place to take beautiful photos especially at sunset. Duomo of Taormina: the cathedral is located at the end of Corso Umberto and you can recognize it by its beautiful medieval facade and Baroque-style door. Greek Theater: the most famous monument of Taormina. The building dates back to the 3rd century BC. and is still well preserved today. It is used for the performance of plays and concerts.
Castelmola is 5 kilometers from Taormina, a small town that is definitely worth a visit for the best viewpoints!
Isola Bella is a small island located at the foot of the city, you see it on every postcard of Taormina!
Upon your return, if you have time left, your driver will accompany you to the Cathedral of Messina, not far from the cruise port, where you can admire the Bell Tower with the largest and most complex astronomical and astrological clock in the world!

Our holiday in Sicily was fun and interesting. With my group of friends we booked with this company a tour that lived up to our expectations. The driver who was assigned to us, Daniele, was available to please us in everything and also great fun! We've seen places with picture-postcard panoramic views! Ghazal was an outstanding tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the area, recommended places to visit while we enjoyed time on our own in Taormina and Isola Bella, and accommodated all of our requests while touring. Daniel was an excellent drive, especially on the narrow and twisting roads leading to and from Taormina and Castelmola. The villages and views are stunning and the shops at Toarmina have so many nice things to offer. We enjoyed some local treats too, like arancini and cannoli, based on Ghazal's recommendations. It was also a pleasure to have a private tour so that we could dictate how much time was spent in a particular place. One watch out - the beach at Isola Bella is mostly rocks that are very slippery in the first 1-2 meters in the water. Rubber soled beach shoes are recommended. If not, be prepared to crawl into the water.
