When you choose this tour, you will tour the ancient city of Teotihuacan with me, a Mexican archaeologist for 13 years, trained in one of the best schools in Mexico. Itinerary
Take the transport that will take you directly to the Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone.
- We will begin the tour inside the complex courtyard of the jaguars, temple of the feathered snails. To understand the origin and foundation of the ancient city. - We will visit the large square of the moon, where we will see its distribution, dedication and conformation. We will also talk about the creation myth and the social relationship in it. - Free time to climb the pyramid We will walk along the great road of the dead, we will talk about the reason for its name, its function and the great mural of the cougar. - Temple of the sun, where we will talk about its dedication, use of its square, and the why of the name of the two temples and the origin of the name of the city. - Finally we will visit the Tepantitla complex, where we will talk about the great water festival, the activities that were carried out and the formation of Teotihuacano neighborhoods.

A very interesting visit. We were divided into several small groups based on our tour language. We took the tour with a guide who spoke French very well. He was very interesting and knew all the history of Mexico and Teotihuacan. We learned a tremendous amount of things. It was a very good time as well because the organization is very well done. Highly recommended.

Alejandro operator on time, super comfortable transport and excellent hygiene. We arrived at the agreed time in the archaeological zone, our super-informed guide David told us about the temples of Quetzalpapalotl and feathered snails, what signifies the constructive stages of these, the murals that appear there, the power of the rulers and priests of that time. What was consumed from seed and meat, the growing areas. We climbed the pyramid of the Moon, we were in the sacrificial plane of it, explained the human and animal sacrifices, we passed by the road of the dead and explained why it was named, then we passed by the, “Mural of the cougar” as well as the, why? Of the colors and meaning of the designs of this one. Visit us the pyramid of the sun, square of the sun always very attentive to our questions, solving our doubts and too explicit and well informed. Totally super recommend to our guide. They picked us up and took us to our starting point, the super nice back and forth with operator Alejandro. A beautiful family experience without a doubt!.
