If you want to discover the humble life of the local people, then, the day trip to the Atlas Mountains is your best choice, during this day tour from Marrakech, you will go into the deep culture and traditions of the Berbers, the local and natives living in the mountains and discover this region, an oasis full of beauty and serenity nestled ideally in the heart of the sublime mountains of the Atlas. Our journey will continue by meeting your local mountain guide, who will take you to discover the wonderful panoramas of the waterfalls and enjoy a hike at the bottom of the mountains. You will pass by a small gateway full of charm that will take you to the heights of the Atlas. After this guided hiking tour to the waterfalls, you can enjoy lunch in one of the traditional restaurants across the river, then; enjoy a moment of relaxation by the river, before heading back to Marrakech around 5 PM.

The Ourika valley is located 30 km from the red city Marrakech, this valley is mainly populated by Berbers and gradually engulfed in the Moroccan high atlas. Despite its proximity to Marrakech, it is still considered a relatively unspoiled valley. This visit can combine the discovery of spectacular nature and traditional mountain life.

We spent an excellent day in the Ourika Valley. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, and our driver was punctual, professional and very attentive throughout the trip. We really enjoyed the beautiful landscapes of the valley, as well as visiting the magnificent Anima Garden, a quiet, original and really pleasant place to discover. This trip was one of the most beautiful moments of our stay in Marrakech. We recommend this excursion without any restriction!

We went on a day trip from Marrakesh to The Ourika valley and Sti Fadma. Our guide and driver was Jamel. We had a wonderful day - amazing views across the snow capped mountains and through the surrounding valleys. We had an excellent lunch sat down by the Ourika river - amazing location for lunch. Jamel was a very knowledgeable guide but also a very, very nice person. His English was perfect and he was great fun to be with for the day. A very charming man. We can thoroughly recommend this trip for families and groups of friends.
