Vincent is the best tour Guide I’ve ever had he was very informative answered all my questions no problem and he made the tour very fun if you have the chance to book a tour with Vincent I would 100% recommend it!!!
Thank you so much for the kind words, really glad you had a great time! Making the tour both informative and fun is always the goal, so it's great to hear that came through. Hope to see you back in Kyoto someday!
Vincent is an excellent guide: highly knowledgeable, personable and great company. He has a real gift for imparting historical information, without it ever becoming dry, and was able to pitch everything at a level that kept two adults and their 10 year old daughter engaged for well over two hours, in the heat of the Kyoto Summer. The personal attention that Vincent is able to give on a private tour is well worth the small extra cost over other group tours – I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It means a lot to hear that the tour worked well for the whole family, especially keeping everyone engaged through the heat. It was a pleasure spending the morning with you all and I'm really glad the private format worked well for you. Hope to see you back in Kyoto someday!

Booking this tour was a great decision. His English is flawless, which made everything super easy. What I appreciated most was his timing. He knew exactly how to beat the crowds, so we barely had to wait anywhere. He is really knowledgeable about Kyoto and showed us some great, budget-friendly spots completely away from the usual tourist traps. Highly recommended if you want an authentic and stress-free trip. I’m already back home and missing Japan crazy. Greetings from Switzerland!
Thank you for such a thoughtful review, and greetings back to Switzerland! Timing really is everything in Kyoto, especially at popular spots, so I'm glad that made a difference for you. It's always fun showing people the side of the city that doesn't make it onto every tourist itinerary. Hope to see you back in Japan one day!
Was a great tour and my guide also was very cool and educating come this tour without hesistation.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Really glad you enjoyed the tour and found it educational. Hope to see you back in Kyoto again someday!
Vince was awesome. My wife and I went to Kyoto on our honeymoon and were lucky enough to get a solo tour with Vince. He was very accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable, laughing and learning the entire time. He was very social and made sure we had the best time possible. Also very intelligent and could answer any question I thought of, which was plenty! This guide is a must to learn about Shintoism, Buddhism & any tips and tricks for living in Kyoto for the duration of your stay. We cannot recommend him enough!
Thank you so much for this amazing review! Guiding curious guests who come ready with questions is honestly what makes this job so fun, so I really appreciated that about you. Kyoto has so many layers to uncover whether it's the Shinto shrines, the Buddhist temples, or just knowing the best spots to duck into during the day, and I'm glad we got to explore some of that together. Hope to see you back in Kyoto someday!
Vince was an excellent tour guide & taught us so many valuable and historical facts about Japanese culture throughout Nijo Castle. He was very personable, accommodating, and gave us endless trips for navigating the city throughout the remainder of our honeymoon. We could not recommend him enough!
Thank you so much for this kind review, and congratulations on your honeymoon! It was a genuine pleasure guiding you through Nijo Castle, and I'm so glad the historical insights and city tips came in handy for the rest of your trip. Wishing you both all the best and I hope Kyoto left a lasting impression. I hope your paths bring you back someday!
Amazing tour with a fantastic guide. The pace was perfect, and we never felt rushed. I especially appreciated how the guide explained the historical significance of both locations in a simple and interesting way. It made the experience much more meaningful than visiting by ourselves. Great tour for history lovers and first-time visitors to Kyoto.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! It really means a lot to hear that the pace felt right and that the historical context added something meaningful to your visit.
