Private Mythology Tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum

We were delighted with our Private Mythology Tour of Acropolis and Museum. Anna is extremely knowledgeable and engaging. We were a group of six people of varying ages and interests, including two older teenagers, and Anna was able to keep everyone's interest. Two of us had visited the Acropolis before without a guide, but Anna's tour added so much to our appreciation. For all of us, this tour was a highlight of our trip to Greece.

Katarina was an excellent tour guide for the acropolis and museum. She kept eight of us engaged and entertained for hours. She made the acropolis cometo life. I could not have imagine doing it without her. She was the best tour guide we had all week.

We had a very kind and knowledgable guide. We were a foursome aged 65-75 and she took us at a nice manageable pace. We learned a lot. She took pictures of us in front of memorable sites. She could tell we were pretty tired near the end so she steered us into the museum and found us a nice place to sit while she told us more stories of Ancient Greece.

It's key to show up early in the Acropolis, there's a lot of movement of people. Our guide Maria was very generous with her knowledge, she explained in detail everything, both in the Acropolis and in the museum. It's worth spending time at the museum. The collection is impressive and completes the visit of the meetings. Both places go hand in hand. The museum is very well presented.

First and foremost I would liketo thank the whole team of Greeking.me for the wonderful experience. We booked the Acropolis and acropolis Musuem tour for our family. The tour guide was very knowledgeabe,but not in a way to give you a tour. She give us a true experience. Our tour guide was marvoulace, very intelegent person, English skills perfect. Our guide not only introduced us to the place called Acropolis and anciet Greek culture, she showed us the true nature of Athianien people. Therefore a called this an exerience not a tour. Dear Tipadvor users, I would like really to praise the experience provided by Greeking. me. If you are wondering if a private tour is worth the price, I can positivly say yes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Eva. She was knowledgeable and friendly and we learned a lot about the Acropolis and Greek mythology. She personalized the tour to align with our interests. Highly recommend as without Eva’s input, our visit to the Acropolis would have been far less enriching.

Our awesome guide, Anna, skillfully wove mythology, history, and architecture into a narrative that kept us completely absorbed! Our 10-year-old, who loves Greek mythology, found the re-telling of the stories and the connections to the monuments absolutely fascinating and remembers it as her best part of the vacation! Our 7-year-old, who was less familiar with Greek mythology before the trip, also came away excited and eager to learn more — something that wouldn’t have happened without Anna’s engaging style and ability to make the material relatable to younger kids. One of the things we appreciated most was that the Anna never rushed us. She allowed us to take in the sites at our own pace, answering all our questions thoughtfully. It felt less like a formal tour and more like a knowledgeable family member taking us along a journey through history. Extra kudos to her for ensuring that we got great family pics at every key spot along the tour!! The visit to the Acropolis Museum was equally impressive. Having a tour guide like Anna made a huge difference in helping us appreciate not just the beauty of the artifacts but also their context and significance. Overall, the tour exceeded our expectations and struck a perfect balance between educational depth and kid-friendly storytelling. It made what could have felt overwhelming into a truly memorable experience for our whole family!!

We took this tour with Sappo as our tour guide. Everything went great. We have been to the Acropolis before without a guide … a lot gets lost unless you have someone to explain the Acropolis and the museum. This tour was great because it was geared towards kids. We all had a great time and learned a ton. The company was professional and responded quickly during correspondence.

An absolutely brilliant tour which was the highlight of our stay in Athens. Our guide Georgina was excellent - incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful and able to answer all our questions. We found having her there to guide us allowed us a much better insight into what we were seeing and we learned so much about these fascinating sites. Strongly recommended for visitors to Athens. Our children (8 and 10) also loved it.

The Acropolis is, of course, an essential stop for any tourist in Athens for the first time. The history, the architecture, the myths, and the view. But how to see it. We arranged our visit with this tour company, and our guide, Tina, added so much to the visit. She got us going early enough to beat the crowdes that were really mobbing the site as we were on our way down. Tina's knowledge of the mythology, history and architecture was broad and interesting. She did an excellent job of explaining things in an interesting way and of relating what we had seen at the acropolis to the exhibits in the museum
