Private Luxor Day tour from Cairo by Flight

Tour coordinator, George went out of his way to ensure our needs were met. His scheduling of our Luxor tour ensured we had transportation to and from the Cairo airport, an excellent guide named Reem and driver who navigated to and from each site. We got more than what we paid for. George also assisted us with our Cairo tour. 2 thumbs up!

Our tour to Luxor was very enjoyable and everything was included. Our guide, Walid, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and politics of the ancient egyptians and was very accommodating. I recommend this tour.

1-Easy contact with the driver before picking us up at the hotel. 2- Bo big issues with the Egyptair ( it is imperative to show them your ticket number!) 3- easy pick up at the Luxor airport. Reem was a great guide! Knowledgeable and flexible with program. We added one museum. 4. The boat trip on the Nike should be a part of the program. 5. Flight at 9 pm was late and there was not much to do from 5:30 pm Also this flight was delayed so we were in z Cairo after 11 pm. 6. Our driver to pick us up was on time. Drive was unusually fast due to minimal traffic. 7. We got at the hotel after midnight, so this trip from the beginning to the return to the hotel was 19 hours! You have to be prepare physically and mentally for so long trip with a lot of walking in very warm weather.

This was an incredible tour experience from start to finish. The company coordinated everything—flights, transportation, and activities—with care and professionalism, and they stayed in constant communication throughout. When our flight was delayed and we landed late at night, my wife and I were really worried about getting to our hotel, especially after struggling earlier in the trip with taxis and ride-share apps. We were hoping for a private car, and despite the late hour, the company responded immediately and had a ride ready for us, which was such a relief. That level of reliability and attention made a huge difference in our trip. Everyone we interacted with was kind, helpful, and trustworthy, and if we ever return to Egypt, we’ll be booking everything through them again without hesitation.

I wish I can give this tour company 10 stars. Our Luxor trip almost did not happen after a previous company cancelled on us at the last minute. I reached out to Deluxe Tour Egypt and George pulled a miracle and was able to get us the flights and made it happen. Our guide Waleed was very helpful and passionate about Egypt and made the whole day run smoothly from the start. The level of customer service and communication of this company is top notch. I highly recommend this tour.

All in all this was a good tour and we are happy we booked it. Was a fabulous opportunity to escape Cairo and visit Luxor for the day to see the wonders of the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple and the temple of Hatshepsut. Our guide, Ahmed, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us excellent information about the sites and history. We had a delicious lunch on an island after a boat ride (extra dollars for the option). Loved seeing the countryside and the Nile up close - felt like we had time travelled. We would have given this 5 stars but for a few things that dampened the experience a little. This was billed as a luxury VIP experience (with a price tag to match), so we were disappointed that there was no water provided at all during the 40 degree day, and the car was basic with poor air conditioning - there were fans for the back seat passengers but they didn’t show us how to turn it on, and the driver actually turned the fans off using a manual dial every time we stopped. We had to purchase so many drinks to manage through the day and got little assistance from our guide as to how much was fair to pay. Ahmed did stop and gift us some sugar cane drinks at the end which was very nice. I would like to make a special shout out to the owner of tour operator, George, who was always very responsive and was able to pick us up when we were able to get an earlier flight back to Cairo. We had a lovely conversation with him on our way home. While there were a few things that could have been improved on this tour, we trusted George enough to book a second tour in Cairo the next day which was a full 5 star review.

Our visit to Luxor was made extraordinary thanks to our guide, Walid. He was extremely knowledgeable about the temples, tombs, and history, and his passion for Egyptian heritage made every site—from Karnak to the Valley of the Kings—come alive in the most captivating way. Walid was also very attentive to our interests and needs. He accommodated our itinerary perfectly, gave us time to explore at our own pace, and pointed out the best details and hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. His warmth, professionalism, and storytelling turned our tour into an unforgettable experience. We can’t recommend Walid enough if you’re visiting Luxor. He transformed our day into one of the true highlights of our trip to Egypt!

This tour was great. They managed EVERYTHING - flight, pick-up/drop-off, entrance, meals, etc... It really made the day-trip to Luxor very easy. It was my first time in Egypt, so I was motivated to squeeze in as much as possible. This tour fit the bill nicely, and I would happily recommend this to anyone seeking to do a day trip from Cairo to see Luxor. As a solo traveler, there are many scams waiting to happen in Egypt. Booking this tour eliminated that fear all together. The peace of mind was well worth the money!

The view was absolutely breathtaking with a stunning panorama that stretched as far as the eye could see, and the food was incredibly delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented 景色が素晴らしくて、最高でした！　　 風景很漂亮

This trip to Egypt was like a magical adventure! We traveled from north to south, visited tons of temples, and even spent an amazing day out in the desert. Then we headed back to Cairo and checked out the Grand Egyptian Museum on our last day. Even though we only had a bit over an hour because of our flight, our guide Marco made it totally worth it with his fun and lively explanations.
