Our guided tour of the British Museum with Jeremy was one of the highlights of our trip. Jeremy was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly skilled at bringing the museum’s history and artifacts to life. He knew the museum inside and out and expertly guided us through the most important exhibits, providing context and stories that we never would have appreciated on our own. Rather than wandering through galleries reading signs, we were able to go deeper into the museum’s highlights and gain a much richer understanding of what we were seeing. Jeremy was especially wonderful with our kids, keeping them engaged, answering their questions, and making the experience enjoyable for the whole family. His enthusiasm, expertise, and ability to tailor the tour to our interests made all the difference. We highly recommend Jeremy to anyone looking for an outstanding guide. Booking was easy through Viator and we were able to coordinate our meet up with Jeremy through WhatsApp.
My family enjoyed a tour of several highlights of the Museum, led by our excellent guide, Alexandra. Focused on being informative and educational for our grandsons (notably the 12 year old), it was also enjoyable for parents and grandparents. Rosetta Stone, Pantheon, Assyrian carvings, mummies, papyrus scrolls, and ancient Roman helmets and tools kept everyone’s interest. A very enjoyable introduction to the Museum.
Hello! Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. Alexandra will be thrilled to hear it! We will be here anytime you come back!
Wonderful experience! Alexandra was great and made the experience positive and meaningful for all of us, including our six year old with wandering attention.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! It truly means a lot to us !
Alexandra was so great! She adjusted well to our six year old and her wandering attention. We had a great time! We truly would have only stayed in that museum for 20 minutes without guidance because it would have seemed too overwhelming with kids.
It truly makes a difference to visit a museum with a guide, especially when she is so kid-friendly and lovely like Alexandra! Thank you so much, we’re very happy you had such a wonderful experience
Alex was an incredible tour guide and our family had a lovely experience!
Alex was an incredible tour guide. She was so informative and kind and great with our kids.
Leila did a wonderful job guiding my family (including kindergartener) through the British Museum. She connected with our kid, delivered information at a kid and adult level, and engaged with him on the artifacts in the Museum. Would recommend Leila for a family tour.
Imagine getting a museum tour from David Tenant as The Doctor in Doctor Who... Jeremy was just like that! He made learning and history fun for the adults and the kids, making special effort to get to know us and just making it all come alive... and entertaining. Well worth it. Would definitely book a tour with Jeremy again!
Larry from Viator gave me and our children ages 6 and 10 the most incredible 2 hour tour of the British Museum perfectly pitched to their ages and interests. He held their interests with memorable stories and deftly guided us through the crowds to the most important and interesting exhibits.
We had an amazing guide - Alexandra, who was knowledgeable and engaging with kids. We had a wonderful time seeing the highlights of the museum.
We really appreciate your feedback and are delighted to know that you had a great time discovering the British Museum with Alexandra. We’ll be here anytime you decide to come back to London!
