An amazing day visiting the pyramids of Giza, Sphinx, Memphis, step pyramid in saqara, and the light and sound show at the pyramids at days end...thank you Hala😁!

Our guide, Hala wove a historical introduction to the pyramids as we basked in the sun at the foot of the Great pryamid. We learned about love, loyalty and eternal life, the three points of the triangle. We clamoured over the stones as she snapped perfect pictures of us to memorialize the magnificence. We descinded down into the depths to the tomb area of the mother's pryamid. We took an hour carriage ride around to the other pyramids which was glorious. On to Memphis to see Rams the second colossal statue and other pieces from the first capital of Egypt. We went Saqara to see the steps pyramid where we also saw incredible hieroglyphics inside the architect's tomb. All during the day drove through ancient areas seeing the past, present and future all blended into one. Donkeys, mules,oxen, working farmers and humble people. We were treated to unique juices such as sugar cane and hibiscus when we needed a break. Perfumes, oils and medicinal ointments were presented. Brava Hala and Egypt tours!
