Description
We take the road towards the village of Tahnnaoute. It gradually rises through a landscape of clear forest of holm oaks, thuja and junipers. This picturesque hamlet is perched at an altitude of 1000m above Oued Reghaya. You can discover the typical Berber market there every Tuesday. After crossing the gorges of Moulay Ibrahim we reach Asni, a small town living thanks to its weekly Saturday souk, in fruit farms, at the foot of Mount Toubkal (4167m), the highest peak in North Africa. At the exit of Asni, the altitude decreases towards Imlil, this charming remote village, embedded at the bottom of superb gorges where walnut and almond trees grow. It also offers a beautiful panorama of the entire region. Imlil is very well known as a starting point for magnificent hikes to discover the National Park and the highlands of Toubkal.

We booked this trip last minute and we are so glad we did. Mohammed was great, he picked us up from our hotel on time and we had a great scenic route around the 4 valleys, with lots of opportunities to get some lovely pics. We went into a traditional berber house and an agan oil collective which was great. We had a nice lunch by the river, and mohammed took us to a great shop to buy some pottery. He then found out where some of the pottery was made and Mohammed took us there and asked the owner if we could have a demonstration, it was great. Highly recommended!

The girls enjoyed the camel ride and I will never forget that I could enjoy a true Italian expresso at a beautiful waterfall after a nice hike/walk the Atlas mountains.
Abdoul has been very kind to take us to the mountains of Atlas with his 4x4 and stop at certain places to show us the beautiful view over the country. He was very polite ,answered all our questions very patiently. I took quite a few beautiful pictures, thanks to him stopping very patiently where I could manage a good angle He took us to a women's company where the oils and perfumes are produced. Then we arrive at the Imlal valley ,where a local guide take us for a beautiful walk to the falls and through the valley. The walk was perfect, the guide are so nice… After the walk we have perfect dinner in a beautiful place. Once you get back you will really have this trip forever. Thanks
It has been an amazing experience!
