Old Cairo, home to some of the oldest churches in Egypt The area of old Cairo or misr al kadema where you will see the ruins of the Roman fortress of Babylon (1st century), and visit the hanging church of Virgin Mary (3rd century) built over the fortress southern towers, the church of Abu Serga (St. Sergio) (5th century) with Holy Crypt where the Holy Family stayed for 6 months and the Synagogue of Ben Ezra (9th century),

This was a great view on ancient Cairo in 3 days. Abdulah showed us many interesting places of his choice, as we did not know anything about Cairo before. His choices were perfect, he was also very flexible to adapt the program to our preferences. Abdulah also took us to some local souvenir shops, away from crouds and with much better prices. We were very pleased with the trip.
