Tomb of King Ramesses lX was the third pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. His name prior to assuming the crown was Amonhirkhopshef. He was the fifth son of Ramesses III and was appointed to the position of crown prince by the twenty-second year of his father's reign when all four of his elder brothers predeceased his promotion to crown prince . The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.
In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .
The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’
King Tutankhamun, the most famous king in the world. This young king from the New Kingdom was around 10 years old when he ascended the throne and died when he was only 19. You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings
Temple of Amun, also known as Karnak Temples. You visit what is considered to be one of the world's greatest architectural masterpieces, namely the complex of Karnak Temples on the East Bank of Luxor. Karnak is a complex of temples built in different reigns, starting with the Avenue of Sphinxes, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis I, the Temple of Amon adorned with lotus and papyrus designs, the Granite Scarbeus of Amenophis III and the Sacred Lake. What can I say about the Luxor trip that I had on my birthday? Hassan was my tour guide and Ramadan was my driver. I had a driver pick me up from my hotel promptly and took me to the airport. When I landed in Luxor, Hassan was waiting for me as he greeted me kindly and explained what was going to happen with what I booked and I had to say there was a lot to get through in the time we had. Ramadan was very courteous as he opened the door for me every stop we made, Hassan was very good with his knowledge over the Egyptian places we went which included: Valley of the Kings we went to see: Rameses 5 and 6, Rameses the 9th, Seti I and Rameses the 3rd. It was a busy day but so worth the time to go down the tombs. Seti is astonishing with Rameses 3. I wish I had time to see more. We then made our way to Valley of the Queens to see Neffitari and and it was well worth it. It might be the most expensive tomb to go in but well with the price. After we went to lunch, set 3 course meal which was alright. Hassan explained about everything we went to see. He took me to Colossi Memnon and also to Karnak and Luxor Temple as well as a boat ride. If I do a trip with Luxor Travels again I would want Hassan and Ramadan as my guides with how knowledgeable, prompt and kindness they have shown especially to someone’s first time in Egypt. Luxor at that. Thank you Ramadan and Hassan for the amazing day that was my birthday. P.S we went to Alabaster City it was well worth the see and also the Papyrus shop. Both were great to see and amazing how they do what they do.
This was a fabulous day! So much attention from our great tour guide - Iman. He filled us in on history at each stop for a wonderful review of egyptian history. He also kept time of our day and we ended up having time to see and do additional outings with him. It was a wonderful, busy day to see all that we could see. Loved the one on one attention with him and his personal knowledge as well.
Khalid Khalid, our guide, is an archeology student and a cheerful man with knowledge and experience. If you have a question, they will answer it gently. It explains the history properly, including the chronological order, and I highly recommend it because it is very educational. The driver, Ramadan, has also been riding for many years and is very careful about driving safely, so you can rest assured. He also left the souvenirs we bought behind on the chair of the car, but he kept them out of sight.
Dear guests, どうもありがとうございました Sincerely, Team Luxor Travels

Great, full day trip from Cairo to Luxor. Picked up at hotel at 4:30 am, flew to Luxor, and dropped off back on Cairo at 9pm. Saw valley of the kings with amazing tombs and colors on the walls. Can pay extra to go in king tuts tomb. Not the best of the tombs there but you get to see the actual mummy of him. Then went to Heitensput temple (like in picture) Karanak and Luxor. Ended with a boat ride in the Nile (also extra cost). The tour guide, Ragab, was amazing and super knowledgeable. He explained everything and answered all my many questions. Learned so many weird and fun facts about ancient Egyptians that I tell everyone about now. Also Ragab went all the way to his own house to get me a phone charger which I REALLY appreciated since I was traveling alone.m that day. You’ll get taken to an alabaster shop, you know the deal. You don’t need or want the alabaster/papyrus/oils but you will go. Happens on every single tour in Egypt and it’s best to just accept it. All in all well with the money and a good guide makes all the difference.
