Our tour guide will pick up you around 8am from your hotel or Airport. Head to first stop at Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. It was established in 1964 to return orphaned "apes back to the wild". The centre was being administered by the wildlife section of the Forestry Department which in 1988 was upgraded as a department under the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Development. All administration and management was given to the new Wildlife Department of Sabah. At 10:00 am Proceed to Platform B, observe man's closest relative a 'the Orang Utans being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterous Forest of Borneo and later watch a 25 minutes scheduled video documentary show.
Then move on to Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, promote sun bear conservation in Borneo through animal welfare, conservation, rehabilitation, education and research - giving captured sun bears a better home and restoring their right to live in the wild, by A Creating the capacity to confiscate, rehabilitate and release suitable orphaned and ex-captive bears back into the wild & providing an improved long-term living environment for captive bears that cannot be released. Educating the public and raising awareness about this species. Achieving increased protection for sun bears and their habitat through ongoing research, increased knowledge and awareness, and further protection of habitat. Lastly, visit to Rain forest Discovery Centre. It is the gateway to getting to know the uniqueness and Importance of Borneo’s rain forests. Situated 23 kilometers from Sandakan Town and not too far from the Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre, the RDC’s main highlights are its exhibition halls, the Plant Discovery Garden, the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve, environmental education programmes and a small lake for boat rides. The RDC also gives visitors a chance to get intimate with nature through its Nature Experience programme which includes a guided walk to the Plant Discovery Garden, Rainforest Walk and indoor/outdoor activities. After finish above mentioned sightseeing we will Drop off you at Sandakan airport or your respective hotel (town area only).

We tried to contact them prior to confirm the pickup location but they did not respond . We even contacted Viator who also could not get in contact with them. On the day we waited for them to pick us up but no one came. We then contacted Viator and filed a complaint. After the complaint they finally got back to us and basically lied by saying they were waiting for us at the hotel.
Amazing tour got to see lots of wildlife with an awesome guide and driver Sitti and JaJa, Cannot recommend enough, lunch was fantastic also, a must do tour if you come to Sandakan
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and seeing the Orangutans and Sunbears was a highlight of our trip. Our guide Siti and driver Agus were excellent, both being knowledgeable, friendly and professional, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Siti has extensive knowledge of the rainforest and flora and fauna, and the work being done to preserve the animals and plants, and was more than happy to share her knowledge and insights with us. Siti is very observant and has a keen eye and was able to point out a lot of animal and birdlife that we would otherwise have missed. She was kind and patient and tailored the tour to our abilities and carefully curated the experiences and timings to ensure that we saw the maximum and had a truly memorable and enjoyable tour. All the facilities were in good condition and well maintained, and the lunch at the Visitor Centre offered a selection of local dishes and was delicious.

Siti was a great, funny, friendly and knowledgeable guide. Good English and easy to chat with. Orangutan’s Rehabilitation centre is a little too touristy for our liking. Sun Bears we learnt so much about them and their rehabilitation was really good. We added on the Proboscis manners and this was the highlight of our day!!
Absolutely fantastic, was lucky to see the flanged male orangutan as well as a female with baby and multiple macaque monkeys. The rainforest was beautiful, plenty of animals to see. The sun bears where climbing up the tree and great tour guide. My tour guide sahar was very informative and knew a lot about the animals and conservation.Made me feel very safe and welcome.
Since the day before, I tried several time to get in contact with the supplier of this activity. No one was answering. As I had to take a flight of 45 minutes to Sandakan from Kota, so I was worried, that no one would be there waiting for us. So I took contact with Viator, which helped us by contacting them. Finally, at 11pm they finally wrote for pick up at the airport the following morning. Our flight was at 6.15am! The driver took us at the Orango Rehabilitation and then for lunch. And what a surprise! Since the lunch was included, we choosed a dish from the menu. Once again in the car, the driver told us we have to pay for the difference, as the lunch cost only was if 20 Ringgit per person. As we spent more than this, we had to pay for the difference. So, we gave 50 Ringgit to the driver. He should have told us before, about that! Since long, we are traveller all-round the world. If it's said lunch is included, no other charges should arise. Now, we are no pretty sure, if the driver would keep by himself the difference given money. Very bad experience! Don't trust this activit
I was so fortunate to get Agus & Siti as my wildlife tour guides in Sepilok. They made sure that I saw the animals with their expertise in knowing what to look for throughout the trip. They were reliable guides who made my dream come true in seeing Borneo’s wild animals and more. You know you are in good hands when you book with Agus & Siti for your next wildlife adventure. I want to do it again with them and bring family & friends next time. They made it that special.

It was a great experience, everything flowed easily, the only issue I had was my guide was not very informative at several stop off points. I learned so much from listening to other guides while he sat away from me. Although when he was informative it was great and always answered my questions. I know it was a private trip but taking into account of travel times, entrance fees and basic lunch it was massively expensive for 1 person, £130+ for just under 6 hours in Malaysia
