We are flexible and very knowledgeable. We have over 16 years experience. We can travel with you for 1 day or more. We collect direct from your hotel or apartment or cruise ships. We offer free .soft drinks.water Please contact us for further information. We do need your full hotel or apartment address for collection. Please make sure your admission tickets are purchased in advance. We do not book your tickets. Most venues do not allow drivers inside the venues. They are self guided inside. Very important. We can change the itinaery if reasonable. All recommended by Rick Steve's and wonderful reviews on trip advisor.

Me and a group of friends decided to explore the stunning countryside of Kent. Our guide was David. He has been doing this for many years, and it shows! The overall knowledge, lots of interesting and funny facts made our trip great . David has a huge experience, was very accommodating and easy to talk to. On top of all that it was like the only clear sometimes even sunny day of our trip. the Castle is amazing, Cathedral very impressive, some stunning views at the White Cliffs also. We couldn't be happier! Thank You
We had an excellent time with Darius whose warmth, good humor and knowledge turned a day that started rainy and grey into a positive experience. He provided us helpful suggestions about getting around our destinations and arranged easy pickups and drop offs. When we return to London we will always contact him for our trips.
DO NOT HIRE LONDON COUNTRY TOURS if you think you're getting a guide along with a driver. We paid almost $1100 for just the two of us to see the Dover cliffs, Leeds Castle and Canterbury instead of taking the ship's excursion because we wanted to see all three. We ended up with a very nice driver, Alam, but he was no guide at his own admission, even though the description on GetYourGuide states they're all ex-history teachers. The "brand new mini van" had very uncomfortable seats and two of them were back-facing! Most large tour vans have a microphone for the driver to make it easy to hear him. This one didn't. We offered a reduced amount to David, supposedly the company owner, because we really wanted to see the sites but he offered less than a $300 reduction. We refused and were returned to the ship where we were fortunate to find Artur's Taxi to take us at a quarter of the price and much more information.
Hi. Let me answer this for you. This was a professional scam. She booked a tour through get your guide who charge 30% commission. This tour was advertised as a driver guided tour. It was not advertised as a driver and a blue badge guide. It clearly states this in website. This was one of the rudest persons we have picked up. My driver drove 100 miles to collect these clients. We have done this tour on many occasions. She was very rude to the driver who has over 6 years experience..shouting and treating in his face. A very gentle person. He said let me take you to the white cliffs. And we can talk. Explaining he is a driver guide. She was shouting all the way. She was treating that she would ruin me and my company. Terrible behaviour. She said she was a professional doctor.? He took them to a beautiful spot.said calm down. Then let me know what you require. On her return. He turned on the recording to tape her reply. She kept treating that she would ruin me. Unless we accepted to do the tour for 400 dollars. A disgraceful behaviour and offer. This was a complete scam. She told the driver and showed him. She cancelled the tour and myself and the driver would not be paid. I asked the driver to return her and husband to the ship. She kept treating to ruin my reputation. Never ever known this before. Was very angry that we would not accept her offer 400 dollars..which is 300 pounds. This wasn't possible. Hope this helps. Terrible behaviour. I did offer her a discount to keep the peace for 650 dollars. She refused. She never paid the driver for taking her to the white cliffs. I can't accept bad rude behaviour to myself and one of my drivers. I would not accept this from a so called professional person. Hi. Its strange that a main problem was that we never had a seperste blue badge guide. Yet in the end. She went with a taxi..with no knowledge or history. And did not take the offer I made. Also I phoned the cab company. They charged her 600 pounds. 800 dollars. Unfortunately. This was a scam that did not work..theating behaviour..to try and scare the driver. Trying to put a stain on his character. For the record. Alam was a school teacher history.geography with under privileged children. He is on a tour today. The lady has already contacted me and said thank you for sending Alam. We do not tolerate rude behaviour from anyone. This is why I asked him to take back to the ship. Sorry. Rude and a professional scam.
Our tour was a highlight of our London visit. Eddie is a true gentleman and very professional. We was an endless source of knowledge and enthusiasm. We never felt rushed on the schedule. He kept us on time and even added a few very special side stops. Over and beyond expectations! Thank you Eddie…Hope to see you on our next London visit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two outings with London Country Tours; one being to Leeds Castle, Canterbury and the White Cliffs, AND the second to Warwick Castle and to Stratford on Avon. Two wonderful days of having a personal guide to these scenic and very interesting places, with pick up and return directly to our doorstep. Our driver and guide, Steve, was the best! Very knowledgeable. We will definitely take more tours with them on our next visit to the UK.

After getting picked up at our hotel, off to Leeds Castle, got there just as it opened. Meliane dropped us off at front gate and with spent a wonderful time at the grounds. Then off to Canterbury and time in the city. A great lunch for all, and then off to Dover for a view and hike around the top and bottom of the cliffs. Meliane spent extra time to accommodate a couple in our group that had mobility issues. Thanks for her support with this. A great day all in all

Horrible customer service. We were charged $1000 for a private driving tour around Dover for 2 adults, 2 kids and an infant as a cruise excursion for 6 hours. Our cruise ship canceled our port of call to Dover and while other local tour companies worked with Tripadvisor or Viator to refund passengers fully in this same situation. David Stubbs from London Country Tours refused to refund us even partially for a tour he did not provide to us. Even London Country Tours' website states that they only need a $100 deposit to book a tour for under 8 persons with the remainder to be paid to the guide after the tour. Our "guide" was not willing to even partially refund us minus the deposit and pocketed the entire amount. I would caution anyone deciding to book a cruise excursion with this company as they will keep all your money even if the ship decides to cancel the port of call last minute when that is not the norm in the tourism industry. We have taken multiple private shore excursions through Viator that have been fair and equitable in such situations and we have been glad to support them. Please consider supporting the numerous other scrupulous local tour operators with your hard earned tourism money.
Hi. This is a terrible review by someone who never even took the tour. She never booked with me. She booked with Viator. Who collected her money. I have not received any payment. She cancelled the tour the night before we were do to collect them. She asked me at 11pm to cancel the tour. I said viator have a rule that within 24 hrs there is no refund. Her problem is not with us. It's with Viator. This was cancelled because there ship had a problem. Not my fault or Viator. I had no control over her payment or anything else. I lost a day's payment. This is terrible. She is posting 1 star reviews every where. She really dosnt know what she is doing. I told her to claim off of her insurance or ships insurance. How can we get a 1 star review from not taking any payment.not doing the tour. I should be giving her a 1 star review. Unbelievable. This is what makes this review system very bad. People can post what ever they want. Please ignore this review from a lady who does not have any idea what she is doing or booking with.
The three sites are lovely and we had a beautiful day. However we were picked up two hours late. Our driver, Peter, told us he was never given our hotel. I have two emails where I confirmed our hotel and address. Peter is a driver not a tour guide. While he was attentive he did not offer any tour information. A disappointment after previous good tours with Trip Advisor/Viator.

This driver is a experienced person. He was given your correct details. Somehow.i still don't understand how he went to wrong hotel. I understand he stayed with you 2 hours longer and you had a great time with him. These were his comments and not mine. I really didn't know of this situation.. It clearly says on Viator tours. These are driver guides and not tour guides. Each venue has there own guides inside.
Our private tour with Eddie was absolutely the most amazing tour we have ever taken. Having traveled to many countries and places we have never had a tour guide so knowledgeable and charming. We saw so many villages we didn't expect to see. To say we were so impressed is an understatement, we were simply captivated. So much so, we're going to repeat the same tour next May with Eddie.
