Itinerary
Get picked up from your hotel and meet your friendly guide for an extraordinary cultural evening. First, visit Delhi’s most prominent architectural marvel, the beautiful Lotus temple. Notable for its flower-like shape, it serves as a mother temple of the Indian subcontinent. The gigantic structure is made up of pure white marble in the shape of a lotus, which is a symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. Meditate like a true Yogi at the enormous meditation Hall and experience peace.
After that, proceed for the ancient Kalkaji Mandir. This famous shrine for Hindus is believed to be a "Manokamna Siddha Peeth," which literally means that the temple has miraculous powers to fulfill all the desires of its devotees and is one of the most revered Kalika (an incarnation of Goddess Shakti) temples in India. The Temple stands tall since the time of historic epic, Mahabharata.
After that, experience faith, love and beauty at Delhi’s ISCKON temple, and dance in the trance of Krishna at this exceptional place of worship.
Following that dose of mythology, head to Delhi’s favorite hot spot, Connaught Place. Observe Delhi from its core, and with your expert guide explore the legendary area with a Kaventers shake bottle in your hand. Witness the old city center, built in 1930s.
walk towards the Janpath Bazaars, the city’s most vibrant marketplace. Enjoy the colorful and charismatic ambiance at the Bazaars. Walk past an endless array of curios and clothes hung in tiny shops and spread along the side of the street.
head with your expert guide to Delhi’s most celebrated South Indian’s restaurant, Sarvana Bhawan for taste of a dosa and idly. Though you might have to wait for a few minutes to get seats, the food is more than worth it. As the day retires, you will be dropped off back at your hotel.

First, it's free entry, and second I did not wait in line for a long time at all. Some reviews have mentioned this, but it was not the case for me although there were a lot of people. Be prepared to take your shoes off. I lined up with the other visitors and we were allowed inside to pray and meditate. It was definitely a serene and peaceful experience.
Get there early as the queues get big and remember you can take photos up to a certain point, then you need to respect the fact people go there for peace and tranquility
