The best tour!!

We did the private tour and it was a wonderful experience. The scenery is amazing, we had tea in a Berber house, we trekked in a waterfall and had lunch on the shore of the Ourika Valley. Excellent Service and very friendly our guide/driver!!

Great day!

What an amazing area! Learned so much. Saw some gorgeous terrain. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and personable. Even squeezed us some orange juice at one of our stops. Rug making operation was really interesting. We had a lovely lunch there consisting of some of the vegetables that they grow on their property. Stopped at a private residence for tea.

A busy day, stoppages for commercial purposes, a little unpleasant "inaccuracies" that spoil a p

Quasi-private tour because we are the only two visitors in the minivan. Stopping in a Berber family to drink tea, you feel that the driver is waiting for one thing, it is to move on. Stop in the middle of nowhere to climb a camel, make a few hundred meters, take some pictures with the Atlas in the background and leave. It's all cliché. Stop to visit a "cooperative" made up of women who manufacture products based on Argan oil. We would like to know a little more but we feel that our presence is only justified if we buy the products developed by these women. A little disappointing. Finally, Ourika Valley and waterfalls to visit. We had come for a walk a little physical, we were served but arrived at the first waterfall, indeed beautiful, our Berber guide informs us that for the other waterfalls, it is necessary to pay an extra. We thought everything was understood and we had not taken enough money. Disappointment for our guide and ourselves. A decent meal on the waterfront, a moment to observe how Berbers harvest and ship their apples to the rest of the country, by shoulder crates (impressive). Back a little more folkloric or we learn a little more about road uses (the most reckless takes priority) which makes laugh our driver and us too for that matter. We expected a little more explanation, a little more history, a little more culture. Maybe we were waiting a little too long? In summary, a little too much improvisation, haste and a little lack of information. it's a shame because the tour is really superb and some beautiful landscapes

Excellent day!

Everything was on top! The guide was in time to pick us up in our riad. The private tour is much more pleasant than the sightseeing bus! Certainly we ride quite a lot during the day but everything is perfectly set (the Berber house, hiking with guide, lunch, camel ride and coffee in a magical place). In addition our guide was very friendly and took his time so that we could enjoy the scenery to the fullest!

Terrible at first

Initially the guide picked me up from my hotel. I found the guide spoke no English so I am very fustrated. The driver called his manager and I got a English guide who was excellent. Things happen but this should of happened as the company has great reviews. I would recommend this company. I the drive I found was very argent and wanted to play RNB music I had to ask him many times to turn it off.

Wonderful Moroccan landscapes

Long walk across the Atals, maybe a little too much car.... But nevertheless very warm Welcoming for tea in a Berber family with delicious mint tea, and fresh breads. Superb hike to the waterfall, thanks to my guide who helped me climb up there and also to go down (my legs are not 20 years old anymore.....)

A short ride out of Marrakech to see...

A short ride out of Marrakech to see the local villages and have tea in a Berber house is wonderful. The lake is man made and disappointing but the waterfall compensates. While the village below is a little touristy, the three piece sofas perched by the river by the many many restaurants are unique. Take good walking shoes as the hike up the fall can be slippy and requires some basic fitness. The views at the top are well worth it.

The Three Valleys Tour

We booked the Three Valleys Tour during our trip to Marrakech – the company were recommended through our Riad. Everything was booked via email, and they were very helpful. We needed to change our pick-up location 2 days before, and this was changed with no problem. Our tour guide Issam, and driver Mohammed, were both lovely and friendly. It was just the 4 of us in an air conditioned car (this was needed!) out for the day in the Atlas mountains. The tour included Lake Lalla Takerkoust, tea in a Berber village in Amizmiz with the locals, the valleys of Moulay Brahim, Azni and Ourika. We also had regular stops for pictures and fresh air amongst the stunning scenery, and the best part – the waterfalls in Setti Fatma. Issam guided us to climb up the rocks to the waterfall at the top, along the river and lower waterfall (bring good shoes and suitable clothes!). It was truly worth it, beautiful scenery and a wonderful waterfall. Lunch was included at a lovely little spot right by the river, and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend Maroc Excursions, and we thoroughly enjoyed this tour.
