We spent a pleasant day with Anass and Mohamed in Ouarzazate. The visit to the ancient castle town of the Berber village was superb. We were accompanied by a very good guide Mohamed.

The start of this tour was hectic. I was not contacted by the tour operator before the trip, and I waited at the meeting point for 45 minutes without any updates. After reaching out to Viator to ask what was going on, I was finally picked up. In the end, the tour started an hour late, at 8:15 AM, and it was the travelers who were penalized for this delay. Additionally, it seemed that the participants in our group had booked different versions of the Ouarzazate tour, yet we were all grouped together. As a result, the itinerary did not match the description of the tour I had booked. The tour description also states: "Explore Ouarzazate’s iconic Taourirt Kasbah and film studios." However, this is misleading, as there was no "and"—only one option was included. This was highly disappointing, as I specifically chose a more expensive tour to be able to properly visit Taourirt Kasbah. Had I known, I could have booked a much cheaper option and still visited the same places. The only reason I am giving three stars instead of two is because of the beauty of Ait Ben Haddou and the kindness of the driver. I don’t believe the shortcomings of this tour were the driver’s fault; rather, they were due to poor organization.

Day trip to Ait Ben Addou and Ouarzazate It was a positive travel experience, the trip is 3h but it flew as the route is itself scenic, you come to several scenic points from which you can take pictures of the mountainous landscape characterized by many different colors, from red (iron mountains) to black and sage green Jamal our driver was kind, the van he took us in was comfortable (VW) and let us choose the music throughout the trip. We had a plentiful hour to devote to Ait Ben Addou which is absolutely worth seeing. We then went to visit Atlas studios (film studio) commercial stage that, if you are not a fan and cinephile could also be sacrificed in favor of the Kasbah of Ouarzazate to which we could unfortunately dedicate only the time of a photo before leaving at 16 for Marrakech
