Great day trip from Prague. Azam was really helpful, friendly and prompt and showed us great locations for photos, along with a great recommendation for lunch
Gino was a great driver and guide for the day’s activities. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great adventure at Sedlec and Kutná Hora.
Had a great day. Yauheni is very knowledgeable in a lot of subjects. It was cold that day and we decided to leave Kutna Hora earlier than expected and Yauheni took us to see High Castle on the way back to Prague since we had more time. Really appreciate it as we would of missed it on our own.
It poured rain, but our driver’s spirits were high! He was very helpful, courteous and professional. Be aware that you only have 3 hours in Kutna Hora - we could have used at least 2 more!
We enjoyed the drive and the destination. The little restaurants in kutna hora are surprisingly good. Its cute little town. The bone church is pretty unique too.
Driver was very nice. He has a super clean, reliable car. He never made us feel rushed. He graciously waited for us at easy spots to pick us up. He did not provide any history or stories about the culture or historical sights.
This was an excellent decision. Our driver Yakob was very professional and courteous, and the car was spacious and comfortable. The drives there and back were smooth and picturesque. Kutna Hora itself is charming. We loved seeing a different aspect of the Czech Republic. Prague is your typical city. Leaving it, we drove through lots of open space, and Kutna Hora is basically a village. So the architecture is different and the feel is different. The driver will guide you to the main ticket place, and drive you from pickup point to pickup point, but is not a tour guide. We liked it that way. We had our brochures, and we wandered at our pace. Very peaceful expedition.
The reason for a low review was the driver. Our original driver cancelled at last minute and they gave us a substitute. We knew this was not with a tour guide but a knowledgeable driver. The driver was nice but no more than a driver. He shared zero knowledge. Only drove us from site to site. Disappointing. The sites we saw were amazing but we were on our own to figure them out including a place to eat.
The driver was great but was not happy my original guided tour was cancelled. No this sucks I didn’t want to write more.
We enjoyed the efficiency of driving out with a private driver rather than spending time navigating to and within Kutna Hora. Our driver was very informative and narrated most of the drive out, telling us about his country and his opinions. The bone church was very interesting and definitely worth it. We also enjoyed the small church with the big name and suggest you note the amazing tile work in the raised center. St Barbara’s cathedral was amazing, especially the exterior buttressing. They also had great information for tourists (in English as well!). We also explored the town for an hour and thought there were cool stores and cute little streets to wander. There is also a silver mine and museum which we did not go into- mostly because the only available was in German.
