Itinerary
your guide will pick you up from your hotel in your private car then you will go ahead to Coptic Cairo which is One of the places visited by the Holy Family where the spiritual impact of their presence is most felt still .
then you will visit The Hanging Church which is also referred to as the Suspended Church or Al-Moallaqa. It is called the Hanging Church because it was built on the southern gate of the Roman Fortress. Logs of palm trees and layers of stones were constructed above the ruins of the Roman fortress to be used as a fundament. The Hanging Church is a unique church and has a wooden roof in the shape of Noah’s ark. From the 7th century to the 13th century, the Hanging Church served as the residence of the Coptic Patriarch. Al-Moallaqa has witnessed important elections and religious ceremonies.
The church of Abu Serga is known to be one of the oldest churches in the city, dating back to the 5th century, although some historians date its construction to the 8th century BC. For most visitors, the style of the structure recalls that of the Suspended Church, just like this one, the church of San Sergio is characterized by the two rows of columns that separate the aisles from the main one.
it is a destination of Pilgrimage not only for egyptians but for all Christians all over the world
One of the oldest and most architectural mosques opposite to the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan built in 1361.
it is Located deep in the winding alleys of Coptic Cairo, Ben Ezra Synagogue is the oldest Jewish temple in Cairo, dating from the 9th century AD. Like almost all of Egypt’s synagogues, it is simply a tourist attraction today following the departure of nearly all of Egypt’s significant Jewish community during the 1950s after the founding of Israel and the Free Officers’ Revolution, but this site still holds great importance in the contemporary history of Judaism.
then you will visit Amr Ibn Al-Aas mosque . Amr Ibn Al-Aaa is regarded as one of the most important figures in the history of Egypt because he introduced Islam to Egypt. He founded a new city just north of the Roman fort of Babylon called Fustat. Today, the Mosque of Amr Ibn Al-Aas still marks the site of this city. The structure has been renovated several times and none of the original structure remains today, but it is still the site of the oldest mosque in Egypt and the entire continent of Africa.
Then you will visit Cave Church which is at the heart of Mokattam Mountain in southeastern Cairo, St. Simon Monastery . It is one of the largest churches not only in Egypt but also in the Middle East. The Cave Church is located in an area known as the Zabbaleen city, meaning literally ‘garbage city’. This city has the largest population of garbage collectors and recyclers in Cairo.

Sara was friendly, patient, and very well organized, making the tour feel relaxed while still incredibly informative. She was always happy to answer questions and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the day. This tour gave us a much deeper understanding of Cairo’s rich religious and cultural heritage. I highly recommend touring with Sara — she truly made the experience memorable.
Thanks a lot our valued guest for your nice detailed review . We are so glad that you had nice day with us . Hope to see you again with us !
I want to share my trip experience from A to Z. Our operator, Bella, was in touch with us before the trip and offered us the option to customize it ourselves. She also gave us the freedom to arrange the places we wanted to visit. Moreover, I would like to thank our guide, Rasha, for explaining each place so clearly. Special thanks to Ayman, the driver, who took great care of my mom’s wheelchair. He volunteered to be in charge of helping her, which was sweet of him. Thanks a lot!!!
Thanks alot our valued customer for your nice review . Hope to see you soon !
The Tour operator tried to charge me extra for visiting a market, I had paid for, tried to leave me back to my hotel at 12.30 before visiting the market (I booked a day tour) they then said I visited a cavern church twice (once it was closed when tried to take me, surely there fault? And wouldn't count?) They actually said it did and should have charged me for taking when it was open, what i state is all truthful and factual, I tried to reason with the tour operator but she continues to lie and not answer basic questions on what they did, the tour guide also tried to lie and say the church couldn't be visited as it wasn't opened, he lied and was open when we went, he admitted he lied, I don't blame him, I play the tour guide for starting all this, if this reviewed is disputed I can easily display the full email conversation were she continues to lie and not answer questions of misinformation and lying.. I explained the driver was using google maps on his phone between his lap, as he was from Alexandria, they don't seem to want to admit this, we got lost numerous times
First of all , We apologize for any misunderstanding happened today but we want to clarify some facts to make it clear . Our guide picked you up from your hotel 7:45 am and you were dropped back to your hotel by 4 pm not 12:30 pm as you mentioned . So you spent the whole duration as mentioned in the tour. We have checked the route of your vehicle today and we found that you visited extra sightseeings not mentioned in the itinerary like Citadel of Muhammed Ali , Kasr El Nile Road & Tahrir Square ( because you asked the guide for this and he didn't refuse your request and didn't ask you for extra fees for all these 3 places which are already extra places and you should have paid for this but we didn't ask you for extra fees as we always fulfill our customers needs & requests.) In addition to this you visited all the mentioned sightseeings in the itinerary and concerning Cave Church , you went to this places 2 times today and we didn't refuse , as in the first time when you went , it was closed due to prayers so after visiting the other sightseeings , you asked to go to the Cave Church again and we didn't refuse and you have gone there again . So you have visited all the mentioned sites in addition to extra places not mentioned in the itinerary without any extra fees and you spend the whole duration mentioned also . Lastly , we apologize again for you .
