We’re very glad we chose this tour with Mihaela. Walking the City Walls is impressive on its own, but having someone with her knowledge made a huge difference. She shared the history of Dubrovnik in a way that was interesting and easy to follow, with lots of stories and details we never would have learned on our own. She clearly has a genuine passion for the city and its history. We came away with a much better understanding of how Dubrovnik developed over the centuries and the important role the walls played in protecting it. The tour never felt rushed, and Mihaela did a great job finding shady and breezy spots to pause, take in the views, and explain what we were looking at.
We had the chance of making this memorable tour along with Mihaela. She has been amazing guiding my wife and I through the city walls. She provided us with a massive amount of historical information about the city of Dubrovnik, from its very begining up until the Yougoslavia war in the 90’. She pointed out all the most interesting things to do and the best restaurants to visit. The tour was definitly worth the price. Memorable experience! Thank you Mihaela!
If you are able to take one tour in Dubrovnik, take the private city wall tour with Mihaela. We have been on many tours in several countries over the years, and this one is a standout. Not only because of how amazing and beautiful Dubrovnik is, but because of Mihaela's vast knowledge, her ability to communicate with clarity and read her audience while responding with personality. We are a family of four with teenage sons. Each of us thoroughly enjoyed this tour and got so much out of our time with Mihaela. We learned so much and I have a firm understanding of the history of Dubrovnik and the current culture of the city. We feel so fortunate that we spent our afternoon with Mihaela and learned all that we did about Dubrovnik. We visited four countries on our summer vacation and Dubrovnik, Croatia is the only one we want to return to . . . in large part to this fantastic tour. Thank you Mihaela!
Andreja was our private tour guide and she did an amazing job!! So much fun and we learned so much about the history and culture of Dubrovnik. She tailored our tour and was such a pleasure to be with. Highly recommend for any tour!!
She brought great energy and enthusiasm to the tour and was very knowledgeable on the history of the city, country, and region
Love a private group tour when we undoubtedly had one of the best tour guides in Dubrovnik. Mihaela was amazing! We were a party of eight, 60 plus in age, touring the wall in Dubrovnik. Mihaela was extremely informative, excellant english, and just very sweet. The actual walk was much easier than we had anticipated. With that said, it was in September and the temps were comfortable. Amazing tour and we highly recommend! Sorry for the late review Mihaela.
Excellent experience with Mihaela, by far one of the best guides I have ever had. He's very kind and knows a lot. Definitely recommended, and the tour overall fantastic.
Highly recommended the Spanish tour with Mihaela. Very attentive and friendly, and masters the stories he shared with us very well.
Mihaela was an excellent guide for our Dubrovnik wall tour—knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive throughout. She shared fascinating history and local insights while keeping the pace comfortable, and she knew the best spots for photos and views. Her passion for the city really stood out, and she made the experience far more memorable than if we had walked the walls on our own.
Walking the walls in Dubrovnik is a ‘must do’ and our guide Melhana (hopefully have spelt correctly!) made it a very interesting tour by talking us through the far reaching past up to the more recent historical events. Her passion for this beautiful city and its culture was clearly communicated in excellent English. There are plenty of steps, so beware (!) but the views across the city and the streets below with their terracotta roofs are well worth the climb! Thank you
