Itinerary
Inside Dubrovnik Old Town, travelers will discover its most important landmarks and monuments, including the Rector’s Palace, Sponza Palace, Onofrio’s Fountain, the Old Port, Dubrovnik Cathedral, Orlando’s Column, the Church of St. Blaise, the Old Pharmacy and many other hidden corners and stories that bring the history of the city to life. Along the way, we also visit the most important Game of Thrones filming locations inside the Old Town, including the famous Walk of Shame stairs and many other iconic scenes from King’s Landing.
During the tour, we also make a stop at Pile Bay, located just outside the Old City walls. Game of Thrones fans will instantly recognize it as the port of King’s Landing, one of the most iconic filming locations in Dubrovnik. This beautiful seaside spot was used in several memorable scenes throughout the series and offers spectacular views of the Old Town, Lovrjenac Fortress and the Adriatic Sea — making it one of the most photographed locations on the tour.
The tour ends at Lovrjenac Fortress, located just outside Dubrovnik Old Town. The entrance ticket for Lovrjenac Fortress (€15) is not included in the tour price. Entrance to the fortress is free with either a City Walls ticket or a Dubrovnik Pass. The tour does not include a visit to the City Walls. However, if you purchase a ticket for Lovrjenac Fortress, you can later use it to receive a discount on the City Walls ticket within 72 hours.

We absolutely loved our tour with Darko! He brought Dubrovnik’s history to life with fascinating stories about its architecture, politics, and religion, while also sprinkling in some wonderful behind-the-scenes Game of Thrones stories. He seamlessly blended history with fiction. Beyond being incredibly knowledgeable, Darko was warm, funny, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. He was very considerate about the heat and built in several water stops and a rest break. Three hours flew by, and we left feeling like we had a much deeper appreciation for this beautiful city. We couldn’t recommend him more!
Jalena will tie in the history of Dubrovnik into the fantasy world of Game of Thrones with every step . She is extremely knowledgeable and very gifted in her presentation. I recommend her wholeheartedly , ask for her by name .
I really enjoyed this tour as a GoT fan. Our guide (Helena, I think.. - Sorry, I forgot her correct name..) was extremely knowledgeable of not only the location of Game of Throne, but she also explained us about the history of Dubrovnik and Croatia. Helena told us that she was at the filming location when the actual filming was going on, so she could tell us what was going on in the old town at that time. She held the pictures of the drama scenes while we stood at the actual place, so It felt like a scene from a drama had become reality. It was very hot day, but the guide was very considerate and she always stopped and gathered us in the shade when she talked to us. The old buildings and the scenery near the sea was amazing. I was thrilled to walk around the historical narrow street listening to the guide. I would definitely recommend this tour.
This was such a great tour!! Tour guide was so knowledgeable about not only all Game of Thrones locations and history but history Dubrovnik. Would def recommend. Lots of info, even though it was hot, enjoyed the 3 hours
It is a very good experience. The guide Darko was impeccable Do not miss doing it. He explains it to you in great detail. I recommend it 100%
Dubrovnik is a fantastic city with lots of history. Our guide did a great job in sharing the history of the city and balancing it off with information onthe Game of Thrones series.
Darko was a great guide. Combining the history of the city with the more modern Game of Thrones series. Very educating and enjoyable
Tour guide was very entertaining and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour. Great value!
The tour exceeded my expectations. It was 3 hours with information not only about the movie, GOT, but also about the history of the Dubrovnik. Our guide, Darko, provided us with a light visit, with content, scenes from the film in contrast to reality, and always with very good humor and courtesy. And he very willingly took photographs of everyone in the group, including the Iron Throne. I highly recommend the tour.! Fernanda Formighieri
