Private Cigar and Rum Tasting Experience in Little Havana

Description
At the heart of Calle Ocho, the aroma of hand-rolled tobacco and aged spirits define the atmosphere. While Miami is famous for beaches, this historic district is where Caribbean craftsmanship truly lives. Our 3-hour Cigar & Rum Tour immerses you in the artisanal traditions of Little Havana. Tracing the journey from tobacco fields to copper stills, you'll discover how these twin crafts became symbols of Cuban heritage. Meet master rollers safeguarding "totalmente a mano" techniques passed through generations. To complement the leaf, enjoy curated food pairings and premium rum cocktails. Each stop highlights the balance between a premium cigar's earthy notes and the tropical complexity of an authentic Caribbean pour. Against a backdrop of rhythmic music, learn the nuances of blending and aging. Explore the neighborhood's sophisticated spirit; arrive with a curious palate and leave with the refined perspective of a true aficionado.

This tour is a must! We were in town celebrating some birthdays and had a wonderful afternoon learning sipping and smoking. Our guide was amazing. So much fun and even taught us how to dance and made our last stop a place where we got to put our rum cigar and new dance moves into practice with a live band! Honestly it felt like we were walking around with friends! This is a must do !!
Hello! Thank you so much for sharing your experience on the Cigar & Rum Tasting tour. So glad you had a wonderful time. We've curated a tour where each stop builds on the prior one. It begins with history and technique, and ends as you said with a culmination of cigar, mojitos and dancing for those who want to end on a high note. Salud! Little Havana Tours
The Tour Guide, Christine, accompanied by someone else, was extremely knowledgeable and well prepared... I even learned the unexpected such as finding out that there were paintings made out of cigar leaves! I had never heard of that but not being a cigar smoker, I was intrigued by the amount of detail and her knowledge. Tours generally bore me but this one maintained my attention, it was full of fun and enthusiasm vs just a regular memorised script (as in other tours)... Also, other tourists attending that tour were also awed by the way it was run (especially trying out very special rums that I had not heard of before and the “cafe cubano” in different locations throughout 8th Street and its very Latin ambiance and the flavour of those locations. Not being a Cigar smoker, I was convinced to go on the tour and I didn’t expect much, however, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise that I very very strongly recommend! I must say the tour was definitely an excellent tasting experience of Cuban culture in every sense. Any tours run by Christine Michaels will be very much worth it, you should not miss out! Saludos Monica, Wow! Thank you for the detailed review. This Little Havana Cigar tour covers more than expected and yes we do have guests who do not smoke but love learning the history and culture and can give the cigars to someone as a gift. Christine has a flair for presenting with passion and authenticity and really knows about cigars and spirits. And not just Cuban style cigars. She's the only female i Miami leading this unique experience. Plus she'll throw in a dance lesson too for those who feel they have no rhythm and two left feet--she can teach anyone. Come back soon for our introductory tour or other specialty tours Little Havana Part 2, Art & Cocktail and Dark Riches tour. Salud! LITTLE HAVANA TOURS
