Founded in 1772, this House becam famous thanks to Madam Barbe-Nicole Clicquot-Ponsardin. Learn about this visionary young widow who became "la Grande Dame of the Champagne region". Enjoy a guided tour of the impressive chalk cellars ending by a Champagne tasting of 4 glasses of Champagne.
Stop by the Cathedrale Notre Dame de Reims, where Kings of France were coronated. Listed on the UNESCO Heritage, Notre-Dame de Reims is one of Europe's most important Gothic structures.
On the way to Epernay, we will stop at the Benedictine Abbey in the charming hillside village of Hautvillers. The prestigious Dom Perignon, Champagne Wine's Spiritual Father, is buried there.
Epernay is internationally known as the "Capital of Champagne". Discover its stunning main street with their opulent mansions housing some of the most famous "Maisons de Champagne such as De Castellane, Moet & Chanson, Perrier-Jouët, Pol Roger, Mercier, etc.
Moet & Chandon os the first international brand in the world. Founded in 1743 by Claude Möet, its history is linked to some famous figures such as The Marquise de Pompadour or Napoleon 1st. Enjoy a guided tour of their cellars ending by a Champagne tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne.

Radamus was an excellent guide. He was both knowledgeable and punctual. The best part was the visit to the small producer and the drive to Eperney. The big houses are great for history and scale but there are a lot of other interesting options and Radamus helped to open our eyes to that.
