We can meet you at your hotel or start the tour here and there are four large statues in front of the Mersey Ferry Terminal a great starting point and a great place to take selfies
Photos at the street art outside the schools and colleges of John, Paul and George, drive past Holywood filming locations and the Philharmonic Dining Rooms were Paul played on the Carpool Karaoke TV programme
The world's 5th largest cathedral were Paul Mccartney failed his audition for the cathedral choir in 1953.
Walk around the famous Penny Lane shelter, featured in the song and at the heart of this iconic Liverpool location. See the bank on the corner from the song, a key landmark that helped inspire the lyrics of Penny Lane. Pass the barbers shop made famous in the song, still a recognisable part of the Penny Lane story today. Stop for photos with the John Lennon statue, a tribute to one of Liverpool’s most famous sons. St Barnabas Church, featured in the Carpool Karaoke with Paul McCartney and an important part of the local community.
Take photos outside Ringo Starr childhood homes and the superb Ringo mural. This is also the location of Powis Street used in Peaky Blinders
Take Photos at the Eleanor Rigby Grave and see the church hall where John and Paul met for the first time in 1957
Visit the new visitor centre and walk around the gardens and your guide will take photos for you and your family on the bandstand with the mosaic Imagine tiled floor. Use the restrooms and cafe and finally take selfies at the famous Strawberry Field gates. There is also a souvenir shop here.
Unlike the bus tours, you can step out to take photos outside John Lennon childhood home

Booked the Private Beatles Car Tour, Penny Lane, Strawberry Field & childhood homes in Liverpool. The experience was informative, and our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Highlights included where Paul and John first met]. The pacing was just right. I only have one complaint, but it is notable, they show a Mercedes van as the image, but what showed up was a 4 seat taxi cab, with 2 very uncomfortable seats facing backwards, we took turns seating in the awful jump seats, but wow not good. Overall, we enjoyed the tour. Saluti

This tour was fantastic! Our guide, Brian, was wonderful. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. Our tour could not have been better. Our tour guide/ driver was Joey. He drove a taxi. We thoroughly enjoyed his comments and stories and felt like he gave us a good overview of the Beatles more personal lives. The downfalls were the car really only had good seating for three. There were four of us so one person had to sit on a small platform seat not meant for sitting on for a long period of time. Second problem, because it was a taxi there was a plexi glass partition between us so we had to strain to hear him speak.
We are pleased you enjoyed your time with Joey who is an excellent Beatles Guide. Joey usually has a licensed Mercedes licensed for 6 passengers and there is no bench seat in that. If a car is off the road for a service etc then he might have been using a courtesy vehicle but it’s still licensed for at least 5 passengers. Did you speak to Joey about this during the tour? If he was aware you weren’t comfortable then we’d expect him to call us and we’d arrange another car later that day. Or did you just let the tour proceed then write the review as I need to understand what’s happened? Thanks Neil
