Our first stop on our Beatles tour is Penny Lane. Grab your selfie at one of the most photographed signs in the world which was autographed by Sir Paul McCartney in 2018.
We visit the birthplace and childhood home of the late-great Beatle George Harrison. Discover the humble beginnings of this musical genius.
We travel through the historic village of Woolton Village where John Lennon and Paul McCartney first met on 6th July 1957 at St Peter's Church Fete. Spot the gravestone of Eleanor Rigby en route.
Get your photo at the iconic Strawberry Field gates along our route and discover the importance of the place that influenced the Beatles (in particular John Lennon's) songwriting of 'Strawberry Fields Forever'.
Discover the routes behind the working class hero as we visit the 'not so working class' home that John Lennon grew up in with his Aunt Mimi. Due to the nature of the location, Passengers are unable to get off the coach at this point but the coach stops briefly for on-board photo opportunity .
Take a short walk up Forthlin Road to Paul McCartney's childhood home and the place where countless Beatles practices and songwriting took place. Paul returned to his home in 2018 and surprised our Magical Mystery Tour customers by coming out of the front door! You never know what might happen on a Magical Mystery Tour!

The second of Liverpool's two Cathedrals to see on our tour, located at the opposite end of the street to the Liverpool Cathedral. Affectionately named 'Paddy's Wigwam' by locals, it is a sight to behold.
Learn about Liverpool's Beatles and city heritage on the way back to the city centre, en route to the final stop - The Cavern Club and Mathew Street. Learn about the historic, iconic live music venue where the Beatles performed 292 times between 1961 and 1963. Excellent tour to get a good overview of information about the beatles as individuals and their lives in the city of Liverpool. Also good way to see the city areas where they live. Guide Robin was excellent, informative and upbeat.
Amazing tour. Paul was very funny and tells us a lot of stories about Paul and John. I will recommend this tour especially for the The Beatle's fun. We also get free entry for whole day to the Cavern where usually you have to pay 6 pounds for entry.
We had a wonderful experience with Del and Neal on the Magical Mystery Tour. The tour hit many of the most famous Beatle-related stops in Liverpool with ample time to take photos at a few of them. I consider myself relatively well-versed in Beatle history, but even so Del shared some history (both past & more recent) that was new to me! He was also engaging throughout & happy to answer the many, many questions our fellow tour participants had for him. The tour is obviously designed to appeal to committed fans, but even casual ones would find many things to enjoy here.
It was like a concert on wheels
Well worth doing this tour if you are a Beatles fan. Great fun, Beatles music on board. Our guide and driver , Robyn and Dennis, were brilliant, funny and very knowledgeable. Plus free admission to the Cavern Club!
Fantastic tour, fun, factual and a must for Beatles fans or anyone wanting to learn more about the band. It really is a magical journey 👍
I booked the Magical Mystery Tour to accompany my Beatles-mad daughter, but I ended up discovering my own inner fangirl! Robyn was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, entertaining, and full of great stories that brought The Beatles’ history to life. Dennis, our driver, was equally brilliant, keeping everyone smiling with Beatles singalongs between stops, which really added to the fun. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just tagging along like I was, this tour is well worth it. I came for my daughter but left with a whole new appreciation for The Beatles. Highly recommended!
Great experience Tony and Neil were great and helpful. Tony definitely knows his stuff very informative.
Friendly, informative tour with real knowledge of the Beatles’ lives. Tony, our guide, was great fun and as his mother grew up in the house opposite Paul, had loads of stories to tell. A big thank you to him and our driver Neil for a highlight of our trip to Liverpool.
Absolutely brilliant Tony and Neil were great so much information and so well organised Really enjoyed it both of them made us all welcome and a lovely experience Thank you
