Description
Departure from the Hotel / Riad at 09:30: A beautiful drive takes you to the foot of the Atlas where you will discover the small villages of mud, red hanging on the sides of the mountain, terraced agriculture, and the banks of the river fresh. In the village of Tnine ourika, you will stop to visit a gardens of safran. A little further, the bioaromatic gardens cultivate its 45 varieties of aromatic and medicinal plants that can be smelled and tasted. The Timalizene garden also offers Berber tea flavored with herbs from the garden. On this tour you will tour the High Atlas Mountains and see the way of life of its inhabitants. Upon reaching Ourika you can walk through the valley, eat at one of the traditional restaurants and enjoy a guided walk of 2 hours to visit the Ourika waterfalls.

We went on a day trip to ourika to see the waterfalls. It was absolutely beautiful. We were picked up at the riad on time and travelled to ourika. The journey was really pleasant. When we arrived in ourika, Raschid started walking with us and encouraged us to keep going until we reached the waterfalls. Of course, he made sure that none of us slipped the whole time and always showed us how to walk/climb. Sturdy shoes make sense :-) At the top we had a totally beautiful view and the mountains are fantastic. A big thank you to Raschid. It was great to have met you. We would book again at any time.

Great experience and great tourguide/driver! Ourika Valley is definitely a unique place and everyone should climb that little hill, see the waterfall und eat Tangine at the river. Especially our driver Rachid made this trip perfect: He explained us a lot about the area and Morocco in general. Additionally, Rachid stop the car at any place if you want to take a closer look at the mountains or one of many markets at the road. I can absolutely recommend this! ps: don't forget to wear solid shoes :)
