The architecture and layout of the successive capitals bear witness to a high level of social order and ranking within the Khmer Empire. Angkor is therefore a major site exemplifying cultural, religious and symbolic values, as well as containing high architectural, archaeological and artistic significance.
Angkor Thom, literally: “Great City”, contains several of the must-see temples and ancient sites including Bayon Temple, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King, Baphoun Temple, and many more. It's a must-visit on a trip to Siem Reap and its ancient temples.
The Bayon's most distinctive feature is the multitude of serene and smiling stone faces of The Buddha - probably modeled on the face of King Jayavarman VII - on every side the many towers that jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak.
Baphuon of Udayadityavarman II (reigned 1050–66); and the Buddhist temple of Bayon, which was the central temple built by Jayavarman VII when he gave the city, which was later known as Angkor Thom, or “Great City,” its more or less final form.
Ta Nei temple is a very small and rarely visited temple. The lack of other visitors is one of many reasons why you should visit this amazing temple.
Built from 1186 and originally known as Rajavihara (Monastery of the King), Ta Prohm was a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of Jayavarman VII. It is one of the few temples in the Angkor region where an inscription provides information about the temple's dependents and inhabitants.
Banteay Kdei, a massive Buddhist monastery from the latter part of the 12th century, is surrounded by four concentric walls. Each of its four entrances is decorated with garudas, which hold aloft one of Jayavarman VII's favourite themes: the four faces of Avalokiteshvara.
Located just outside the walls of Angkor Thom,Built in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII.
Located right across the road from Thommanon,Built in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII.
A temple-mountain,King Jayavarman V’s own state shrine,Built in the late 10th century.
A small, Angkor era monument,Unique bas-reliefs,Built in the early 10th century.

Pitt works in a very professional manner and is attentive to his clients' requests. His responses have always been prompt and his information sincere. I spent three days visiting the temples of Angkor Wat (small and large circuits) with my tuk-tuk driver Sophorn, a kind, helpful, smiling and patient young man. If you choose to use their agency, you will enjoy personalised service that is always punctual. I wish them both all the best for the new year!

We had a wonderful guide - Kong Thy. We were picked up at our hotel at the designated time. He was very knowledgeable of the history of Agkor Wat and the Bayond Wat and one other. Also he was very kind and helped take so many wonderful pictures for us so that my friend and I could be pictures together. We had aTuk tuk driver Mr Kimsun. He was always ready with a bottle of cold water and a cool towel to help us cool off after walking around the Wat. Mr Thy & Mr Kimsun made our your of Angor Wat very enjoyable. Highly recommend using him or his company.
Dear Dai L We're delighted to hear that you from the young to the young at heart—was so enthusiastic about Thy and Kimsun's commitment and hospitality. His passion as a tour guide is truly exceptional, and it's wonderful to know that his cheerful and empathetic manner made your trip an unforgettable experience. We're especially pleased that even the smallest challenges of the trip were successfully mastered thanks to his perceptiveness. Your feedback is a great motivation for us—and a very special compliment for Thy and Kimsun. We would be delighted to welcome you back on another visit to Angkor—with Thy by your side, of course! Best regards, Pitt
