Seeing the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx is a once in a lifetime experience when visiting Cairo. Having an extremely knowledgable tour guide with you like Hosney will make this experience a thousand times better as you will learn all about the history of the Egyptian civilisation. Some other benefits of booking this excursion is that you don’t have to wait in the incredibly long lines for your entry tickets or shuttle busses on the premises, which is a life saver as the heat can get unbearable between the months of May - September. Also, Hosney will get the best shots of you at the pyramids; he is very imaginative and won’t give up until you have gotten your best shot :)

We were a family of 9 people with younger kids and older members. We only had one day in cairo to see all of this as well as the GEM, so needed transport, prearranged entry, and a tailored tour. Hosni arranged all of this perfectly, starting the morning with a pick up in a minibus at our private Airbnb residence and fitting in the full programme, including going inside the pyramids, camel rides, sphynx, lunch and the GEM. Lunch was at a very touristy buffet place, but did the job of getting us in and out quickly. Hosni explained historic contexts and would have happily guided us through the museum as well, but we chose to just walk around on our own as there is plenty info provided with each section of the museum. Would certainly recommend and to use him again!

The private guided tour was brilliant and a must when visiting Cairo. Our guide Hosni was very friendly and knowledgeable and great with our two teen kids (13/16). He guided us quickly through queues and seemed to know everyone to be able to get on and off busses with ease around the plateau. He knew the best place for photos and was even a great photographer! Highly recommend this tour and Hosni!
