The tour started early morning when we were picked up from our hotel at Cairo. The driver was on time. We reached Alexandria in three hours, around 11 AM and picked up our tour guide on the way to our first excursion - Catacombs. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the places we saw at Alexandria including the Tower of Pompeii, Mediterranean Sea and the library. We reached our hotel around 7 PM. The entrance fee for several places was not included in the package. The car was an old sedan and was not very comfortable. There was hardly any leg space in the car.

I had a wonderful trip to Alexandria. Shimaa showed me the most popular sights and she explained in detail their history. She made me feel so comfortable and safe. The car was super clean with air-condition shaded windows which kept it cool during the long ride on Desert road. The driver drove very safely. Shimaa stayed for me for as long as I wanted at each site. She was very sweet and protective especially at street crossing . She also helped me get great souvenirs for a very good price from the little market by the Mediterranean Sea. It was an awesome trip.
