The tour doesn't follow the standard tourist route, but also show the local life and living areas around the Aker River. We are all native Scandinavians with a keen interest in our country’s culture and history. We are especially passionate about giving visitors the opportunity to explore all Oslo has to offer, including its spectacular surrounding fjord - and forest area, and the city's fascinating rural and urban culture and history. All our driverguides are formally trained and licensed guides. We also come from educational and professional backgrounds which have given us extensive insight into additional facets of Norwegian society such as industry, trade and the arts. We guarantee skilled, safe and comfortable driving using the best modern vehicles available today.

Entrancet icket included. Guided Visit to "The best museum in Norway"! Enter the Fram Ship from 1892. Polar exploration was important in late 1800 and early 1900. There was a race to conquer the North pole and the South pole. In the Polar Museum you'll be inside the dramatic polar history.
Guided Visit! Some kilometres west of the city centre is the great Vigeland Sculpture Park, open all day and night to the public. The several hundred outdoor sculptures illustrate the circle of life. We are happy to give you a guided tour of the park.
To give you an overview of Oslo, we take to the Ekeberg Park view point. Here we point out the harbor, the Opera house, the Fortress, the City hall, the Royal Palace, Holmenkollen and the medieval park.

As a contrast to the modern Barcode area we stop at the Hipster & Street art area in the lower part of Aker River.
Off the crowd, close to the "native" Oslo citizens. View and walk the stairs close to the impressing Aker river waterfall and feel the 19th century industry history. Visit the small tiny Lovisa's café for a coffee or/and a waffle?
The impressive Holmenkollen Ski Jump (The small ski museum is not included) is situated between the fjord and the forest. The forest is called Oslo Marka, and is our main area of recreation, particularly in winter since we love skiing. We take you up to the Holmenkollen hill to see our national symbol of skiing and view of the city. Note entrance fee to the Ski Museum, the jump tower, Zip Line nor the Ski Simulator are included. HOWEVER IF NOT QUEUE WE CAN VISIT THE TOWER (NOK 160 adult (EUR 16))

Note: No ticket necessary, name for lead traveler only. We'll display a pickup poster or Ipad/Cellphone. Note: We offer pick-up from all Oslo Hotels and addresses in Oslo. Starting time is flexible for private tours. Cruise Port? Don't worry, give us the Ship Name and we'll know where you dock. Look for the Norway Exclusive sign with your name after the security gate. If pick-up at Oslo Airport OSL, look for our sign with your name or if you missed it, go to the Transport Information desk in the arrival hall (turn right after Customs). OSL is 49 km from Oslo. Pick up there will either reduce sightseeing time 1,5 hours, or we can offer expanded time scedule.

Svein is a great guide both before and during our day with him. We first started planning with him in January 2020 for a trip originally planned for June 2020. Both pandemic and my wife having heart surgery meant a change in plans. Very responsive via email. He took time to understand our interests and specific needs. He offered us alternatives and advised us on issues we might encounter. We rearranged for June 2021 and finally our trip took place June 2022. Changes of dates were handled smoothly. Payment via PayPal invoice 7 days before our trip was easy. Svein he and delivered Oslo Cards to our hotel. On Sunday he was on time and waiting for us on hotel reception. He tailored our day on the fly allowing us to see his local neighbourhood, meet a gu in de at Kistfoss and allow us to see fjord views from a highview point. He is very knowledgeable about Oslo, it's surrounds and Norway. Excellent English. Well travelled so able to offer a Norway perspective on world matters. Very comfortable car. The private tour went well. Svein upgraded us to a super comfortable minibus for the 6 of us, and gave us many added value services. The best part was our tour guide Helene. She was very knowledgeable about Oslo. Great storyteller and she explained everything not only well but with such enthusiasm and fervor that even my octogenarian parents were engaged! Our family of 7 booked a private tour of Oslo and Svein Jarle was our guide for the day. He was quick to reach out after our booking to ask what we wanted to see to ensure we would get the most out of the day. A few days before the tour he reached out to ensure we were all set - told us he was upgrading us to a 13- seat van and was also getting us an Oslo pass in case of rain so we can visit museums (all at no extra charge). On the day of the tour he picked us up even earlier so we could spend more time exploring the city. We had a great driving tour of the city's highlights, made a stop at the Opera house, went to a great vista point with the view of the whole city, visited the Vigeland sculpture park, went to the Fram museum, the Viking Ship museum and the ski jump. We absolutely enjoyed our time with Svein Jarle, who provided a lot of useful facts and commentary about the city and the history, without it being overwhelming.
