Great tour. Tour boat was quiet and not overly crowded. We were able to walk from the ship to the tour boat. We did need to ask directions when getting off the ship but passersby were friendly and spoke English. Tour guide give us lots of interesting facts and history.
This tour is basically a slow paced boat ride around the Oslo fjord. The fjord itself is a large lake with island scattered in it.
My sister and I took the 2 hour silent boat tour in June during our first trip to Oslo and loved our experience. It was a wonderful, relaxing, and beautiful boat tour despite the rain. We were seated inside on the upper level and with the fantastic floor to ceiling windows and comfortable chairs, it made the experience outstanding. The coffee was great as well! The tour guide was informative. My only complaint was that we were not able to stop at the Fram museum on the way back to the port as planned, which was disappointing as we had to purchase a separate ferry ticket to get there (and had to wait for a half hour) after we docked. Overall it was a lovely boat tour which I would recommend! Note: if you go directly to the dock you can scan the QR code to book directly with the company, but plan ahead as the tickets sell out. (We had to go our second day since the tickets were sold out day of our arrival to Oslo.)
It was OK some beautiful scenery. 2 1/2 hours going around some of the islands near Oslo. If time is limited there are better things to do in Oslo
Very nice cruise . The guide spoke well and gave good information . The staff were pleasant . The food and drinks were good
A wonderful tour of the sights of the Oslo fjord. The weather was fabulous,- most guests found a spot outside. Would have come earlier than 13:15 to get an outside table, but other guests kindly shared with us. Upstairs inside was too hot in 28C weather, downstairs congortsble.
A nice smooth ride to see the beautiful Oslo fjords. We were fortunate enough to have a beautiful day. Basically just a boat ride 1 hour out, and 1 hour back. But the sights are beautiful. Find a seat, sit back and enjoy the ride.
Boat ride was fine, but this was barely a guided tour. Narration was very little for 2,5 hrs. Lacked interesting facts and humor. Family was board and we generally like these sort of things. Very sad we wasted all that time doing the exact same thing our cruise ship did. With that much time, I thought we’d go up a channel or two and see some amazing fjords. Nope, just a poorly narrated trip around the harbor.
Hi Laura, we're sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide an engaging live guided experience, and we consistently receive positive feedback about the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guides. While we understand that guiding styles and expectations can vary from person to person, we're sorry that this one wasn't the right fit for your family. We would also like to clarify that our route extends beyond the harbour, while there are no big dramatic fjords in Oslo, we have beautiful islands with Norwegian cottages & boathouses along the shore. Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. Safe travels!
Terrible experience with awful customer service. Pick any other company and save yourself the headache
