Experience the desert at its most mystical and tranquil, as the sun rises and enjoy a dune drive on a 3-4 hour trip from Dubai.Watch the desert come alive as your driver takes you on a dune drive. After roaming the desert, drive to watch the protected indigenous wildlife such as Desert Gazelle and Arabian Oryx. Then a quick drive to Al Qudra Lakes part of the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve. Across the series of lakes at Al Qudra, you can enjoy a picnic or a leisurely ride. It’s a great way to see Dubai’s beautiful desert sunrise with a waterfront view and spot some local wildlife. Your private 4x4 vehicle off-road a dirt track meanders through the Arabian Desert. Welcome a new day the Arabian way when you experience the serene beauty of a beautiful sunrise in the middle of the Desert. Joining our ‘The Sunriser’ tour, you are picked up by a rugged 4x4 jeep for a scenic drive to the heart of the desert. Experience dune bashing over the Arabian Desert and go sand boarding on your own.
After roaming the desert, drive to watch the protected indigenous wildlife such as Desert Gazelle and Arabian Oryx.Take pictures with the morning sky and sand dunes in the backdrop making this your once in a life time desert drive experience.
Then a quick drive to Al Qudra Lakes part of the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.It’s a great way to see Dubai’s beautiful desert sunrise with a waterfront view and spot some local wildlife. - NOTE: On a foggy / hazy day the sunrise may not be clear
- Children aged 4.99 years and under are not allowed to join the Tour.
- Pickup will be in a Private 4x4 Land Cruiser with up to 5 people per land Cruiser
- Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
- Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.
- The Dubai desert can get cooler in the evenings during winter, so we recommend you bring a light jacket and closed shoes. Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
- Meeting Arabian Oryx is not guaranteed (there is a low probability that Arabian Oryx will not available at the feeding station)
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
- The local tour operator reserves the right to cancel any part of the scheduled programs because of government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions, or other similar circumstances.
- The duration of the actual tour takes 3 – 4 hour but the driving time from Dubai hotel and return may take another 60 – 90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day.

It was an Amazing experience with Huznoor our driver and guide from Srilanka. Very professional, discrete and it was an experience of a lifetime for my family with 2 teenage kids. Dunebashing, Wildlife with Oryx sightings were icing on the cake. Picnic style breakfast and then a drive to the lakes was amazing too. Driver picked up at 5am sharp and dropped us back at our hotel by 945am with precision planning and execution. Totally enjoyed this outright and fully recommend this !

Fantastic all round experience, The driver was very knowledgeable and friendly , from pick up to drop off the whole experience was great , the early morning start let us get through the city in no time the small groups allowed us to enjoy the desert sunrise and our driver was very helpful with photographs , cannot recommend this trip anymore,👍🏻

This tour was a great experience. Our driver was a great wildlife spotter in the pre-dawn light. The trip was a great way to see the desert as the sun came up. Dune bashing injected some excitement into the trip. We enjoyed every minute of the trip.

Had a great time on this trip with our guide Mustafa. We saw Oryx, gazelles, flamingoes, desert hares & a falcon. We enjoyed Arabic coffee & dates as we watched the sunrise and went sand boarding. We didn’t do dune bashing (by choice) but visited a different area for camel riding instead (pre-arranged). Mustafa was a very knowledgeable and very helpful tour guide.

I had the most serene desert safari with Orient Tours, From the minute our driver Mr. Ornell picked me up I knew I was in for a treat. He was on time (4am sharp), the 4x4 was spotless and before starting the safari he made sure I knew what to expect, from time to time he kept checking if everyone in the vehicle was comfortable. The dune bashing was absolutely thrilling, between focusing on the excitement of the dune bashing and Michael Jackson (playing) who was also part of the thrill I must say my adrenaline was thro' the roof💃🕺🏽. I liked it soooo much that the driver suggested before leaving Dubai I should try the sunset safari as well, which I did (THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP ORNELL) If you happen to be in Dubai ask Orient people to send you this guy..... he made the whole experience something special. Oh the sunrise view was breathtaking! The flamingos lake 💫

Fantastic experience, like 1001 nights. Peaceful early morning drive, seeing wildlife, followed by a wonderful and rich Arabic breakfast, all set up for us alone with a tent, carpets.
