We booked the desert tour with starting point Agadir and ending point Marrakesh as a French tour because we all speak this language very well. Since it is a private tour, there were three of us in the minibus with the driver. This is very pleasant when you see the other tours with mixed groups around you. The contact with our driver Abdullah was very cordial. He may not be a guide, but he knows a lot about life in Morocco and you can talk to him about all sorts of things. If you want to see something, the driver just stops, because you don't have to coordinate with anyone. The two nights in the desert were beautiful. The camp in Zagora was rather familiar, with many more people on the road at the camp in the much larger dunes of Merzouga. Very nice are also the stops in the valleys and in Aït-Ben-Haddou (there the driver taught us a very good guide, whose family has lived in the old town for ages and who therefore knows a lot to tell). A 4-day tour (desert, mountains, valleys, caves, typical and authentic places) accompanied by a guide whose professionalism and human qualities are impeccable. I took the 4-day tour from Marrakech to Agadir via Merzouga and Zagora. Abdullah was fantastic with us, always kind and helpful, explaining many things along the way. All the sleeping arrangements were great, and the visits along the way very interesting. Highly recommended!

We only had a driver on our tour instead of driver and guide. The driver did not speak English, so it was more of a transportation service to each town instead of a tour.

We traveled as a family, four people, all adults and we really enjoyed the trip. It's long, but it's worth it, because you enter deep Morocco, where you get to know its people, its cities, its cultures, its gastronomy, etc. and you finish with a route through the Merzouga desert in a spectacular camel. We were accompanied by a great rida driver: excellent person, helpful, knowledgeable of the terrain and always explanatory, it is a pleasure to travel with our driver. Alright.
