Fly to Siem Reap, CAMBODIA Welcome to Cambodia. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, obtain your Cambodia visa, and then clear Immigration and Customs. After collecting your baggage, exit the airport to meet outside your local Guide. He/she will be holding a sign with your names on it. You will be privately transferred between the airport and your hotel by a professional driver and an English-speaking guide for a three-night stay at the Shinta Mani Shack, the closest hotel to the treasures of the fabled archaeological site at Angkor. Siem Reap is the base for exploring the fabled temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer empire. Settle in and enjoy the afternoon and evening at your leisure.

Our tour guide was Chanthou Churn and he was extremely knowledgeable about Cambodian history. He made sure we were well taken care of and did the tour at the pace we were comfortable with. We were so lucky as we listened to other guides they didn’t know half as much as Chantjhou. He made the experience outstanding! He genuinely loves Cambodia and made us feel the same.

We just had this fantastic 12 day trip in Vietnam and Cambodia. You will have your own private local tour guide, a driver and a car in every city. It’s a little bit more money, but definitely worth it. You don’t have to waste your precious time there in waiting for other people or share resources with them. The local tour guide all speaks good English and are very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, especially our Hanoi guide, Michael and our Siem Reap guide, Rith did an excellent job! Another thing is the hotels are all the very nice local ones, I will say 4/5 stars. The room has good view too.
