Itinerary
At 8.00am: Our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel (if it is in the city center) or meeting point and then take you to our boat where you will start your tour. It takes around 2 hours- 2 hours 20 mins to arrive at the Ben Tre port, you will enjoy watching lot of rice field and and local life on your way
Firstly, you will be welcoming with fruits and cakes which are from Mekong delta. I am sure it is such a great welcome for your family and ready for the trip. You will visit the mangrove forest and enjoy picking fruits from trees. It is such an amazing activity that you will have the freshest fruits right on the boat.
Then you will follow fisherman to join his daily activity, and catch prawns from Mekong river. it is such a great experience that you can catch prawns, cook them and enjoy on the boat with coconut water. I am sure that is such a great experience for you, especially when you have your kids with you. They surely love it.
After having prawns, we will head to the coconut land where you see thousands of coconuts and where they make many kinds of products from coconut fruits and coconut trees, You have a chance to try those products such as coconut candy, Visit the coconut land and enjoy coconut products, that is amazing time being in Mekong delta.
Later, we will get you to the cacao factory where they make chocolates from cacao fruits and you try it there. One of the very unique experience that you will see how they process cacao products, try the freshest one. thats so special and delicious.
We will leave our big boat and then get on the small paddle boat, we go through small canals where is like in the middle of jungle and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere here, it is such a great exploration for you in the middle of nature, immerse yourself in this wonderful atmosphere and relax.
We go back to our big boat, having some coconut water and then head for lunch at the fruit garden, - or you can choose to do it on the boat for special experience. it is like dinner cruise. Here you will enjoy the great food cooked by local people. Really fancy experience for your family
We go back to our boat, enjoy the boat ride, watching local people daily activities and then back to the pier. it is gonna be your memorable trip in Mekong delta with us.
Then our car will take you 2 hours back to HCM hotel and say goodbye, we finish the tour at your hotel.

Was what was described but felt it was expensive for what it was. Maybe consider group not private if wanting to save money. Guide was good not too chatty which we liked. Food was lovely but be warned the fish has bones. Hubby had to have one removed from his throat in hospital.
Lilly and her team at MDC are fantastic. We made contact via whatsapp in July. She gave so much information about what trips to do. We had many many changes of schedules and what we wanted to do on tours, lilly was always helpful and understanding of our needs as we have a very big young family. 5 children ages 16 15 13 10 4 After a few months of back and forward we locked in 2 tours. 1. The ben tre mekong day trip from HCM which was amazing! Definitely had the best boat on the river to. 2. Cu chi tunnels day trip from HCM. It was so informative and we all really enjoyed learning about the tunnels and also shooting the M16 guns( this was an optional extra) on the way home the BEST Bo Bun beef soup so good! We had a late flight home this day so the guide was happy to move the tour along at a quick pace for us so we still had plenty of time to shop in HCM before flight home. Prior to these 2 tours we decided we wanted a last minute motor bike food tour in HCM. Lilly organised this within an hour! An hour later at 630pm we were all on motorbikes enjoying the city and food tour with simply the best guides! All the kids and my wife had there own driver, I was with a driver and our 4 year old on the front of the bike. What an experience for my family!!! Thank you lilly!
