My daughter and I had the pleasure of taking a Jewish Quarter tour in Prague with Bat-El. Our guide, Markéta, was lovely and so knowledgeable. She provided us with a wealth of information that made our visit meaningful. In addition to providing us with historically significant information, she also introduced us to the kosher restaurants and other food vendors in Prague. It was such a treat to have such tasty foods after our tour! We highly recommend Bat-El and Markéta, in particular, for a memorable and insightful experience.
We had a 3.5 hr tour today with Boris. It was fascinating and he was very knowledgeable and patient. Tour included 5 shuls and the cemetery. Highly recommend
Our tour of the Jewish Quarter was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our incredible guide. She was exceptionally knowledgeable, passionate, and brought the history, culture, and stories of the neighborhood to life. Instead of simply pointing out landmarks, she helped us truly understand what it was like to live there, both in the past and today. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had experienced the Jewish Quarter through the eyes of a local. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an engaging, meaningful, and memorable experience!
We took two tours with Bat-El. A historic tour of Prague (private Golden Prague) and Jewish Tour. Our tour guide, Marketa, for the historic tour was EXCELLENT! Very knowledgeable and charming. Our Jewish tour guide (cannot remember her name) was very good, but she left us before we entered the Spanish synagogue. Wish she had paced the tour better so she could have joined us. There was much to see and learn. There were a few changes due to the Passover holiday, but all worked out well and Bat-el office (Hana) was extremely helpful and responsive.
Excellent well organized tour of Jewish Prague. Our guide was writing her masters thesis on Jewish Prague - her knowledge and insights were invaluable!
Our guide,Ana, couldn’t have been nicer. Her knowledge was impeccable, and her enthusiasm was infectious. We learned so much.
Friendly guide who was Informative, interesting and had a good history knowledge. Passionate about the area.
Our guide, Julie, was highly knowledgeable, very engaging, and it was a truly wonderful experience. Thank you Julie!
Excellent tour of Jewish history and synagogues of Prague. Saw 3 very different synagogues in small group tour. Anna was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend
It was an incredible tour! Amazing how much history and knowledge our guide Katrina had about the Jewish community in Prague and surrounding area! She was fantastic! This is a must see area of Prague for any Jewish or non-Jewish family. Private tour is the way to go. We were able to get into the synagogues quickly and efficiently. There’s just so much to see and having somebody explain everything to us and help us understand what we were looking at, was essential.
