The Old Jewish Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Prague, which is one of the biggest of its kind in Europe. Did you know there are about 12,000 tombstones in the cemetery?
You will walk with your guide to the Pinkas synagogue. There is also located the entrance to the Jewish cemetery.
During the walking tour, you will also visit the Old Synagogue. This is one of the oldest synagogues in Europe, which is still used for religious ceremonies. It is also one of the oldest surviving synagogue buildings in Europe and the oldest surviving building in Josefov.
You will also get a chance to see the impressive interior of the Spanish Synagogue. Where is also located permanent exhibition: Jews in the Bohemian Lands, 19th-20th Centuries. This exhibition deals with the history of the Jews in the Bohemian lands from the reforms of Joseph II in the 1780s to the period after the Second World War.

- Included tickets are only valid for the duration of the tour

This was a disappointing tour. The guide had only the script and was not at all connected to the city or the Jewish quarter. Other than a rehearsed script, he had no information. I also didn’t like that the tour ended at the Spanish synagogue with the guide leaving. In our case, they had a security issue, and we weee left confused without a guide. Would not recommend.

Our tour with Peter was one of the brightest spots in our terrific week in Prague. While the city's beauty and culture have no trouble speaking for themselves, the context Peter added to this important corner of Prague's history made our whole experience click. Our group was a perfect size, maybe ten or twelve people, so it was easy for us to get close to Peter to hear the stories he shared. We were very grateful for Peter's clear communication and easygoing manner, which kept everyone equally engaged, including our seven-year-old (the only kiddo on this particular tour). We are so happy we booked this tour and highly recommend it for anyone looking to learn more about this fascinating part of Prague's history!

It was more of a lecture tour as opposed to a walking tour. The first hour had us stand still for 20 minutes on the street then 40 minutes standing in the same spot in the first synagogue we were in. Not walking around looking at what was actually there while he explained things. Just standing still til it became stilted and boring and tiring AND it was extremely warm in there so we were very uncomfortable. The next part of the tour was more active but did we really need to stand inside the rugelach store for 20 minutes?
