Take the opportunity to visit in just one day the ruins of the city of Pompeii, the most famous archaeological site in the world and the majestic volcano, Vesuvius, which, in 79 AD. caused the destruction of the cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. This tour is available all year round, and departs from Naples every day. The tour begins by visiting the most important places in the city of Pompeii, such as: the thermal baths, the frescoes of Lupanare, the Macellum and the Basilica. In case of maintenance work for the restoration of some villas or buildings, the guide will replace the visit with alternative buildings. Once the visit to Pompeii is over, you will reach Vesuvius, where you will stop in a restaurant with a panoramic view. Enjoy your Wine Tasting, after which our driver will take you to the top of Monte Somma (1133m), where, on the right side you will notice the cone of Vesuvius (1281m). P.S. 07.30 – 08.30 Pickup from Naples
08.30 - 09.00 Arrival in Pompeii, Free time to purchase tickets and various needs
09.15 – 11.15 Walking tour inside the ruins
11.30 – 12.00 By bus to the restaurant
12.30 – 13.30 Lunch
1.30pm – 2.00pm By bus we continue for another 1000 meters altitude until we reach the bus parking area
2.15pm – 4.15pm Free time to go up the serpentine roads towards the crater, tour with a guide of the Vesuvius National Park
4.30pm – 5.15pm Return to the car park to catch the bus and depart for Naples
