The tour begins with the pick-up by minivan or minibus from the meeting-point at the scheduled time.
You will first reach the Vesuvius. Once at 1,000 meters, you will begin the ascent walking tour up to the crater. At the top, you will have the opportunity to know more about the Vesuvius, thanks to the alpine guide service, which will provide you important information about its eruptions. If the Vesuvius is closed due to bad weather conditions or landslides, it will be replaced with free time in the Herculaneum Ruins
You will pass through the panoramic street which links the Mount Vesuvius to the restaurant where you will stop for lunch.
You will have lunch in a pizzeria on the slopes of the Vesuvius: you can choose between the most typical Neapolitan pizzas: Margherita or Marinara.
You will head to Pompeii, where an authorized guide will wait for you, for a visit of about 2 hours. At the end of the visit, you will have a break for lunch.
You will visit the Pompeii Forum, a Roman-era plaza. This site functioned as the central square of the city, serving as the hub for political, economic, and religious activities, including events, trade negotiations, and discussions.
Included in the Pompeii Guided Tour is a visit to the Lupanare, a structure dedicated to the practice of the prostitution.
You will visit the thermopolis, which was a place of refreshment in use in ancient Rome
You will have the chance to explore the Stabian Baths, where Romans not only bathed but also engaged in discussions about politics, legal matters, battles, women, gladiators and theater.
After the visit, you will be accompanied to the starting point.

We met the tour guide promptly in Naples and quickly proceeded to visit Mount Vesuvius. This part of the day was great, with breathtaking views of the volcano crater and bay of naples. Be aware that the walk from the car park is quite a trek, taking approx 35-45mins of hill climbing in dusty gravel........appropriate footwear is essential. We then moved on to Pompeii, had a delicious pizza and drink in a very nice local restaurant. The visit to Pompeii visit lasts 2.5hrs, and this is absolutely no where near enough time. We had the audioguide which we wrongly assumed would include headphones. Instead it was a handheld device which wasn't really user friendly. We gave up using the audio guide as it was taking 3-4mins per area, and we simply didnt have enough time to stop and listen, to do so would need a lot longer. We walked around and saw.the things we wanted to see, but it felt a bit rushed. The whole day was overall very worthwhile, and we would recommend this trip. But bear in mind the Pompeii visit is time restricted, if you are really interested in Pompeii it maybe better to set a full day aside instead.
Guide was great. Nice and entertaining. Driver was very good too. Weather was hot. Needed more time in Pompei.

We did Pompeii first then lunch and finally onto Vesuvius. What a day! Knowledgeable guides, comfortable bus and seamless transitions. Definitely recommend.
Very well organized. Very comfortable transport bus. They have everything figured out for you. Lunchbwss excellent. Very friendly tour leaders that made the whole experience more interesting and fun.
The bus trip was great. Melania was cheering up the bus and Nello the bus driver was also very nice. Vesuvius was great and also Pompeiji, but the guide Antonio was a bit of low energy. Melania should do the guided tour at Pompeiji too and it would be great.
It was a wonderful trip and our guide Chiara was wonderful and very helpful! Would definitely recommend this trip! Pizza was good all vegetarian!
We really enjoyed our trip to Vesuvius and Pompeii. Everything happened exactly on time and as described in the advertisement. Our guides were very attentive to everyone. Ilenia, in particular, was very funny and playful. His English and Spanish were very understandable. The fact that it was July made things very difficult for us, but we managed it, despite the challenges. Don't forget to bring cold water, an umbrella, and a hat. I would recommend this tour company to everyone.
