Discover the wonders of ancient Pompeii and the majesty of Mount Vesuvius on this full-day guided tour from Naples. Explore the ruins, enjoy a light lunch, and experience astonishing views of the whole Gulf of Naples from the top of the volcano. Begin with a pickup from the centrally located meeting point in Naples and a transfer by bus to the ruins at Pompeii. On arrival in Pompeii, explore the ruins for around 2 hours to discover the traditions and daily life of ancient Pompeii. You’ll see the large theater, the necropolis, the thermal baths, and some of the amazing houses that were owned by the richest residents. Savor a light lunch in a typical restaurant in the area before making your way to Mount Vesuvius. Due to current difficulties in securing crater tickets, we cannot guarantee their availability. If not accessible, the tour will reach Quota 1000 with panoramic views, and crater ticket costs will be refunded if not purchasable on-site.

A guided tour around Pompei was excellent and very informative. We was then picked up by Alessio Zamboni, who drove us to our lunch stop at Kona, where we enjoyed a pizza and some downtime. We then continued our ride to Versuvius for our climb. Alessio arrived at the time he said to collect us and drove us back to our hotel. We thank Alessio for his excellent driving and wonderful conversation during our journey. We highly recommend this company and Alessio.

The tour was fantastic!! Our guide for Pompeii was a local and she was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Pompeii. Our driver, Roberto, was brilliant. This is a great tour to get a taste of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. Be prepared to do quite a bit of walking. Our guide Alessandra together with the bus driver ensured we had a very good experience. Pompeii is huge so beware that what you’ll only see a portion of it. But what you get to see is very nice. The lunch was good at a calm restaurant.
