The pigs were exactly as entertaining as everyone says, and snorkeling was better than expected. It did feel a little crowded on the beach at one point, but we still had enough space to enjoy ourselves.
Great day out on the bay, snorkelling at the reef and then swimming and having a cold beer on Pig Island. Picked up from our hotel in a bus already occupied by some very nice tourists, dropped off at the wharf and waited for another bus load, on the speedboat was very fast, complimentary soft drinks and water provided, or beer for a fee. Stopped for an hour or so on the reef for a snorkelling adventure, sadly the reef was badly trampled by people who have no brains. There was some sea life such as stingrays, colourful fish and turtles. Onto Pig Island which was very crowded and very hot, but plenty of shade was available. Lots of pigs ambling about for our entertainment, and lots of dogs also. Enjoyed the facilities and water, and a quiet cold beer and after 90 minutes ferried back to the wharf for a very nice and generous buffet luncheon before being transported back to out hotel mid-afternoon. A great day provided by professional and experience crews.

What a fun quick trip out to see the pigs. You can tell they try to take care of the pigs responsibly. The boat was comfy and the captain was good

Very was a very entertaining half day trip in very nice weather. Pig Island was great for swimming, kayaking and watching pigs. The food was delicious and enough to get full. While snorkeling we could see many fish and corals. Unfortunately there were no children's snorkeling equipment and we had to improvise something.
It was okay, nice day out, unfortunately was not any fish on the snorkelling site and mis understanding the guide english language.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you had a nice day, and we apologize for the lack of fish at the snorkeling site and the language misunderstanding with the guide. We appreciate your comments and will work to improve the experience. We hope to see you again for another exciting experience soon. Best Regards, Tawan Oh-Hoo Team
The tour it self was great. There were very kind & Friendly staffs with safe and clean boat. The schedule was on time. I had a good time in this island. However, I was disappointed with the conditions the pigs lived in. The pigs cannot reach fresh water at all. They have to beg a bottle of water to tourist but not enough. Their working conditions are harsh I hope the tour company does something about it because they make money from pigs. Ask donation, or using just a few % of money to pig for fresh water will be the appreciated. I hope you agree with this idea and spread in here.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and had a good time on the island. We are also grateful for your concern regarding the pigs and their living conditions. We take your comments seriously, and we understand the importance of ensuring the well-being of the animals involved in such attractions. Your suggestion about, and we will be sure to look into this matter to improve the experience for both our guests and the animals. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback, and we hope to continue providing enjoyable and responsible experiences in the future. Best Regards Tawan Oh-Hoo Team
This was a very bad experience. The driver collected us in a van which stank of cigarettes and drove way over the speed limit in order to get us to the boats where we had a 45 minute wait before departure. The boat was packed. we arrived at the snorkelling spot at the same time as all the other boats. Probably 150 people in total. snorkelling was impossible because the current was so strong that we were getting blown away from the boats. The boat guys had to throw ropes out to get us back in safely. One man cut his leg on the propeller the water was so choppy. Then we went to pig Island, which was fun. The boat crew were great, it wasn’t their fault. They obviously go wherever the boss tells them to. Very unsafe trip and definitely not recommended with children.
It was a nice experience. On the island you can go to a viewpoint and you can kayak for free. The food is just not that good we found (we had one vegetarian meal and one meal with chicken). Furthermore, the piggies were very cute and there were really babies around us a few weeks old. With us the taxi was more than half an hour late with pick up, but that turned out to be no problem afterwards because we easily managed in terms of time.
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the island overall experience. We appreciate your thoughts on the meals and will take your feedback into consideration to improve experience. We hope to welcome you back for another great adventure soon. Best regards, Tawan Oh-Hoo Team
Madsum Island (pig island) was fun but essentially just pigs on an island! The snorkelling was disappointing. I was not aware that water levels are about 1 -2 metres lower at this time of year (August) and so swimming over the coral was not really possible. It is also getting bleached by warming waters and some people were damaging it by kicking and standing on it - I do not think this is a responsible way to run a tour and all visitors should be told not to touch the coral. Lunch was great but again the kayaking was not possible due to the really low water level. Maybe the trip would be better during high tide. Our guide was very enthusiastic however and took lots of photos which he sent on to us which was great.
