We booked this trip with high hopes but came away a bit disappointed. Part of the tour included seeing the Big Buddha. However, you aren’t told that it is actually closed to the public and you can’t see it. We were driven close to it and barely caught a side view of the statue. The temple was extremely busy. Beautiful to look at. We could have benefited from more time in Old Town as we didn’t quite get to explore as much as we wanted.
