Russell was a kind, friendly guide who made the trip very streamlined and enjoyable!!!
Wonderful day! The beach boxes were lovely and the kangaroo and wallaby park was so fun for the kids and adults, beating able to pat them was a bonus! The penguins were absolutely adorable, we couldn’t believe how close we could get to them. Our bus driver was so lovely, it was a great tour, I would highly recommend!
This is a good tour. The guide was a good guy who helped when asked.. The beach boxes were a disappointment.
Although it was a rainy day, it was still fun. The penguins were a highlight, as well as the animal preserve.
There is a bit of driving. Our guide Tony was knowledgeable and was a very safe driver. Penguins were right on time out of the ocean. Would recommend excursion
Thoroughly enjoyed the trip Loved seeing and hearing about these very expensive beach boxes. The wildlife park was interesting and saw a few animals we had never heard of. The Penguin parade was a bit of a disappointment. As by the time we arrived all the lower seating in the public area was taken and we were so far back I could not see over the heads of people to even see the beach. The Penguins are so tiny and even on boardwalk trying to watch them there due to darkness and crowds of people at the railings . I would suggest you book on line for the private seating As it was sold out when we got there.
six of us went on a tour and we all had a great time. saw wild life, great sunset view at Hobbies and Penguins!!
What a neat experience and incredible day! We enjoyed the scenic stops, feeding the wallabies and kangaroos at the wildlife sanctuary, and the quaint town of Cowes where we had delicious flakes (shark) and chips for dinner. Of course, the highlight of the trip was watching the adorable little penguins make their way out of the water and onto the beach back home. We only saw 4-5 penguins from the bleachers, but they waddled single file along the boardwalk later on. What a fantastic sight to see! Would highly recommend this tour!
First of all the air conditioning wasn’t working, it was only a trickle of air. The temperature outside was approximately 40 degrees. It was unbearable and the tour should have been cancelled or another vehicle used. Secondly, the driver decided to change the departure time at Moonlit Sanctuary but only told people after everyone was off the bus. He told most people except one couple. We were on that hot bus for 45 minutes waiting for them and we couldn’t get back in the centre to wait. The couple weren’t at fault as they weren’t told. This is totally unacceptable and horrific as it was unsafe in that heat. I have only just recovered and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone again!!!!
Here was another tour guide who was really up for his job and who took care of all the participants with wit and charm so that we could all spend an eventful day. I haven't had such an excellent guided day in a long time.
