Depart New York through New Jersey and Pennsylvania for the "City of Brotherly Love"—Philadelphia.
Arriving in the historical center of Philadelphia, visit the famous Liberty Bell, one of the symbols of freedom in America, as well as Constitution Square and Congress Hall.
Stroll Elfreth’s Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.
Continue on a panoramic tour of Philadelphia that includes the Financial District, Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Historic Philadelphia, and more. Departing the city, you'll see the famous “Rocky Steps,” before continuing east to Lancaster County, the traditional home of the Amish people.
Start your time in Amish country with a ride on an authentic Amish horse-drawn buggy that you through Amish farm country. Learn how this traditional community lives without the benefit of modern technology: no electricity, running water, telephone services, or appliances. After the ride, visit the marketplace where you can shop for handmade arts crafts and products. In the late afternoon depart east for your evening arrival back in NYC.

A wonderful tour covering lots of different interests including American history, Philadelphia sights & Armish culture. Oscar (our guide) is very knowledgable, explained everything well & patiently answered all my questions. All the stops were interesting - including the meal breaks. Highly recommend this trip. However we were told to sit at the back of the bus where there were only 9 English speaking passengers. Loud engine droning noise & a rough ride. Would have preferred to be closer to the front where the Italian & French passengers got preferential treatment.

Awesome staff from the bus driver to the tour Guide. She was very knowledgeable and didn’t make us feel rushed. The visit to the farm was the best, nice family petting and feeding the animals and buying their fresh made products. They are delicious, what a difference from eating stuff from the supermarket.
My friends and I enjoyed our day trip from NYC to Philadelphia. I’d definitely like to try other itineraries.
I would suggest the gathering time in the morning for the weekend should be at 15 minutes later . Instead of 6:30 am it should be pushed back to 6:45 am for the visitors coming from New Jersey state . The reason is the public transportations like The PATH doesn’t start operating until 6.00am so if you live in NJ side you can’t make it to Port Authority Depot at 6:30 am. Usually on the weekends NYC traffic is not jam packed so a little late starting the bus journey does not affect the whole trip . Secondly the trip to visit BETSY Ross house is completely wasted of time . The museum is only a souvenir shop and you have to pay extra to get it.
Beautiful tour. The starting point is very convenient for those staying near Times Square and once you arrive there according to the directions, the guide was immediately ready to welcome you. The first stop is Philadelphia and in about two hours you arrive at the city. During the journey, the guide tells you something about New Jersey and gives an introduction to Philadelphia. Once you arrive, have breakfast immediately and then the tour of the stops described in the itinerary begins. Around 11:30/12 the bus leaves again in the direction of Lancaster with a visit to the Amish village. Here too the visit is wonderful and evocative. A deep thank you to our guide Redi, extremely prepared and a profound connoisseur of American history, the city of Philadelphia, and Amish culture. Compliments!
