A must-visit while in Phuket, the stunning Phi Phi archipelago consists of six tropical islands located off the coast of Krabi. This full-day tour takes you to the highlights of four islands within one of Thailand’s most beautiful national parks in the Andaman Sea. Swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Pileh Lagoon, relax on the white sandy beaches of Bamboo Island, and enjoy sightseeing at Monkey Beach. Visit the world-famous Maya Bay, featured in the movie “The Beach.” Admire breathtaking limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and vibrant marine life throughout the day. This tour includes a delicious buffet lunch, light snacks, snorkeling equipment, and life jackets for your comfort and safety. Important Note: Maya Bay is closed annually from August 1 to October 1 for environmental restoration. During this period, visits to the beach are not permitted; however, sightseeing from the boat may be available depending on sea conditions.

Start your day with convenient minibus pickup from your hotel, villa, or apartment in Phuket. We will email you the exact pickup time at least one day before the tour. Upon arrival at the pier, meet your guide, complete the check-in process, and receive a color-coded wristband for your tour group. While waiting for departure, enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, cookies, and light snacks. Before boarding, your guide will provide a safety briefing.
Loh Samah Bay is a peaceful and picturesque bay located on the southern side of Phi Phi Leh. Surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs and clear turquoise water, it is home to a rich variety of marine life. Our boat normally arrives at Loh Samah Bay, which serves as the main access point to Maya Bay. After disembarking, visitors follow the designated walkway through the island to reach the world-famous beach. Along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views and take photos of the surrounding scenery. As visitor numbers are controlled by the national park, there may occasionally be a queue to enter Maya Bay. Waiting times can exceed 20 minutes during busy periods. Please note that Loh Samah Bay and Maya Bay are closed annually from August 1 through September 30 and reopen on October 1. Since access to Maya Bay is through Loh Samah Bay, this stop is not included in the itinerary during the closure period.
Maya Bay Stop (Phi Phi Leh Island) Arrive at the world-famous Maya Bay, the iconic filming location of “The Beach” starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Take in the breathtaking scenery of white sand, turquoise waters, and towering limestone cliffs at one of Thailand’s most beautiful and recognizable beaches. Our boat normally arrives at Loh Samah Bay, the designated entrance to Maya Bay. After disembarking, you will follow a short walkway across the island to reach the beach. Swimming inside Maya Bay is not permitted under national park regulations. Visitors may enter the shallow water near the shoreline only where permitted and should always follow the instructions of the national park staff and tour guide. Seasonal Notice: Maya Bay is closed annually from August 1 to October 1 for environmental restoration. During this period, visits to the beach are not permitted; however, the tour will stop nearby for sightseeing and photo opportunities from the boat (subject to sea conditions).
Cruise into the stunning Pileh Lagoon, a natural pool surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. Enjoy swimming in calm, emerald-green waters—one of the most picturesque spots in Phi Phi. For a unique experience, you can also rent a traditional long-tail boat for photos and a closer exploration of the lagoon.
Enjoy sightseeing of the famous Viking Cave from the boat, known for its ancient wall paintings and traditional bird’s nest harvesting. This iconic limestone cave is one of the most unique landmarks in Phi Phi Leh, offering a glimpse into local culture and history.
Enjoy a delicious all-you-can-eat Thai buffet lunch on Phi Phi Don Island, with halal and vegetarian options available. Savor a variety of local dishes to suit all tastes in a relaxed island setting. The restaurant type and ambiance may vary depending on your selected tour option. Snorkeling at Phi Phi Don Island Discover the vibrant underwater world while snorkeling near Phi Phi Don Island. Observe a variety of tropical fish species and colorful marine life in clear, warm waters—perfect for all experience levels.
Enjoy sightseeing at Monkey Beach, located in the scenic Yong Kasem Bay. This beautiful stretch of white sand is home to wild monkeys and surrounded by crystal-clear waters and lush cliffs—perfect for photos from the boat. For safety reasons, please do not feed or approach the monkeys.
Arrive at Bamboo Island, a tropical paradise with soft white sand and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on the beach surrounded by stunning scenery. PLEASE NOTE: this stop is included only in selected tour options.
Relax or snorkel at Khai Nok or Khai Nai Island. Khai Islands often called the “Pearls of the Andaman Sea.” Enjoy crystal-clear waters, soft sandy beaches, and excellent conditions for swimming and marine life viewing. Optional activities such as jet skiing and parasailing are available on-site (extra charge). Beach services, including sunbeds, umbrellas, restrooms, and food & drinks, are also available for an additional cost. PLEASE NOTE: this stop is included only in selected tour options.
Return to the pier. From there, transfer back by minibus to your hotel, villa, or apartment in Phuket, completing your day trip comfortably.

Our Phi Phi Islands tour with Phuket Best Sea Marine was one of the most uncomfortable and concerning travel experiences we've had. The main issue was the crossing itself. Sea conditions were extremely rough, yet we were never informed in advance that the trip could be this challenging. Had we known what to expect, we could at least have made an informed decision about whether to participate. The captain and crew did not appear well prepared for the conditions. During the journey, crew members began handing out life jackets, which only increased concern among passengers. Several people fell and hurt themselves, many became violently seasick, children were crying, and one passenger appeared to require medical attention. People on the front deck were struggling to stay in place during some of the larger impacts. At several points we were genuinely worried about our safety. We understand that no tour operator can control the weather or the sea. However, passenger safety, communication, and decision-making remain the operator's responsibility. More transparency about the conditions before departure would have made a significant difference. The island stops themselves were generally fine, but the final stop at Khai Nai Island felt unnecessary. We spent around two hours there, despite there being very little to do beyond purchasing overpriced food and drinks. We would have preferred either more time at the other destinations or a shorter overall tour. We were also encouraged to purchase water shoes before the trip, but never encountered a situation where they were actually needed. Overall, this experience felt far more like an endurance test than a sightseeing tour. We would not choose this operator again and would look for a company with stronger communication and a greater focus on passenger comfort and safety.

August is part of Phuket’s low season, when waves and changing sea conditions can occur. Tours operate only when conditions are considered safe, and other operators were also running their scheduled trips that day. Life jackets are standard safety equipment on speedboats, and their use during rougher conditions is a normal safety precaution. During the tour, one guest had a minor fall and received immediate first aid from the guide. No further medical assistance was required. The island program was operated as scheduled. Khai Island is a planned part of this tour and is clearly included in the itinerary. Recommended items to bring, including water shoes, are provided in the booking information for guests’ comfort and convenience. For future travelers, it may also be helpful to know that this tour is available in several different options. The Phi Phi + Khai Standard option is our most budget-friendly speedboat program and normally operates with a larger group. We also offer a Phi Phi + Khai Comfort speedboat option with fewer passengers on board, as well as a Phi Phi + Khai + Bamboo Catamaran option. The catamaran provides individual seating and generally offers a more stable and comfortable ride, which can be particularly appreciated during the low season. We understand that rough sea conditions can significantly affect the experience, particularly for guests who are sensitive to motion, and we are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations.
I went on a Phi Phi + Kai Island Comfort Tour from the Royal Marina. Breakfast was good before we left, and there was even a coffee machine and a popcorn machine on the pier. The lunch buffet was also delicious. Our guide Toni- was very kind and fun and tour- he enlivened the whole thing. The island was really beautiful and the weather was great - it was a great day. I want to participate again.

Splendid landscapes but, an enormous amount of people, the sites follow one another without really taking the time, mediocre buffet, quite a bit of trash on the beaches, more tourists than monkeys on Monkey Beach... in short, a fine example of mass tourism.
