It's a carefully curated foodie experience led by a team of professional Penang food guides. Before we get started, our tour reflects the local cuisine and the limitations of street food vendors means we unfortunately cannot cater for every dietary restriction. Many are unaware of Penang’s unique culinary history, a mouthwatering mishmash of Malay, Indian and Southern Chinese culminating in a unique Nyonya cuisine. Penang might be one of South East Asia’s lesser visiting spots, but the culinary scene more than measures up to its neighbors. Four hours of feasting on our curated daily food experience awaits. Master your chopstick skills over sizzling plates of Hokkien char and char ho fun, dip lok lok in simmering aromatic hot pots, mop up daals and vegetable curries on banana leaf thalis and discover what colourful Nyonya kueh are among more than a dozen more sumptuous tastings at places you’d struggle to find alone.

Our guide was Grace who was excellent. Easy stroll through Georgetown giving us tons of insights into not just food but culture and history of Penang. My two teens surprised me by trying everything with gentle encouragement! There is a lot of food so pace yourself, the walking definitely helps so we felt comfortable by the end of the night. Went back to our favorite spot the next day. Highly recommend this tour!
Excellent food tour and our guide CE was brilliant. You really need to be hungry or have a very healthy appetite, they are not lying when they say 15 courses. Lots and lots to eat but we would highly recommend. Great group from Belgium, Australia and UK via Greece who made it all a great experience! Many thanks CE!
This tour is fantastic and Sandy a brilliant host and guide! We wished that we'd done it earlier on our trip so we could re-visit some of the stops. We took two primary school aged kids on the tour and they were looked after and accommodated. Sandy is kind, knowledgeable and friendly and clearly an expert in local food and culture. My tip would be to skip lunch on the day of the tour - you need room for all the tastings!

The guide was amazing in not only sharing the details of the many many food items we tasted, but gave us so much cultural history too. We had a wonderful relaxing time. Our guide was also a local with lots of experience.
Excellent experience with a fabulous guide Ken, covering food, history, Penang's reasons for food variety and excellence, and explanations of the food's origins. And Ken was fun! Made it a great night for the small group who met up for the first time.

I’ve been on a few tours around the world and this has to be the best in terms of value for money, guide knowledge and the wide range of tastings! Sandy was an incredible guide who passed on so much knowledge as she took us through the many cultures that make up Penang’s food scene. We have been to Penang a few times but still were able to try things we had never tried before. We had such a great time and left feeling very, very full. I can’t recommend this tour more!
Sandy led our tour and was a mine of information over the 4 hours! She thought of everything to make sure our group had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Come hungry because you will have a lot of very tasty food to try. Great to eat where the locals eat, try new dishes and meet the people who prepared the food. It set us up for further exploring over the next three days visiting Penang. Highly recommend.
